Monique is a charango player, ceremonial musician and charango teacher. 

They have spoken regularly as a visiting artist at Berklee College Music Valencia, discussing themes of cultural appreciation and LGBTQ+ visibility. In 2019 Monique attended the Faber Residency (Spain) - and in October 2023 will be Composer-in-Residence at Visby International Centre for Composers (Sweden).
