Clubsonica Records opens the summer season by unveiling the sixth edition of their popular Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, an extensive of sorts to the imprint’s MMW and ADE showcases which operate under a similar ethos. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels, Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their sixth edition, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most diverse volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): Armandhe, Derk, Nico Serjanovich, FJL, Golan Zocher, Liam Sieker, Nicolas Viana, Rocio Portillo, Karim Sar Sar and Valley (AR). 

Getting the release underway is Armandhe. Releases courtesy of Balkan Connection, Droid9, Movement Recordings and Sprout, amongst others, have been instrumental in establishing the Medellín resident. With 2023 being highlighted by a contribution to Movement’s ‘Exploring Colombia’ collection, Armandhe now returns to Clubsonica with the deep, charming sounds of ‘Encontro’, a track which serves as his first production of 2024. 

The collection’s first collaboration finds Derk, FJL and Nico Serjanovich combining their extensive forces on ‘Trix’. Although relatively early into their production journey, the trio’s joint discography is already enviable, highlighted by releases via Droid9, Higher States, Mango Alley, Sound Avenue and Transensations, while genre trendsetters Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast with support. Now, in what is a first time collaboration, Derk, FJL and Nico all make their Clubsonica debut with the hypnotic vibes of ‘Trix’. 

Selection three finds Clubsonica stalwart Golan Zocher and label debutant Liam Sieker also collaborating on ‘Incandescent’. Following a 2016 debut, the Tel Aviv resident quickly found his place amongst the genre's elite, earning play and support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Meanwhile, Australian artist Liam Sieker has been a fixture of his country's nightlife for the better part of a decade. Liam has found a home on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Golan and Liam present their debut collaboration ‘Incandescent’, a track which sits as one of the most mesmerizing and deeply emotional creations of their respective careers. 

Selection four finds Nicolas Viana returning to the label for his first original offering ‘Fever’. On the strength of a contribution to One Of A Kind's 'Melody Masters Exclusive' collection, Nicolas would go on to record projects for Amulanga, Flug Lab, Melody Of The Soul, Nordic Voyage, Or Two Strangers and Peace Symphonies, while electronic music tastemakers Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo and Sabo, amongst others have all championed his work. With Nicolas’ Clubsonica debut coming earlier this month with a remix of ‘Unfaithful’ by Claudiu Adam, the Tucuman resident now returns to the label with the groovy progressive sounds of ‘Fever’. 

The release concludes with Rocio Portillo, Karim Sar Sar, Valley (AR) with ‘Rise’. Released in October, their 'Ananda' EP for Madloch's 3rd Avenue caught the attention of organic and progressive house DJs alike, in turn making them a trio to watch going forward. Now, adding Clubsonica to their resume, Rocio, Karim and Valley (AR) continue their creative partnership with the mystical sounds of ‘Rise’, a track which puts a resounding stamp on another diverse and well curated edition of Clubsonica’s beloved Sampler Series.

Addicted To The Underground 007 // July 2024

Clubsonica Records continues into the summer season by welcoming AKSOM back to the label alongside debutant INA NIA. Hailing from Colombia, AKSOM debuted his newly coined melodic house and techno alias in 2023 amidst much praise. Clubsonica would act as the vehicle for AKSOM's double a-side debut ‘Artefactum | Saturn', a release which would receive support from Armin Van Buuren, John OO Fleming and Mind Against, amongst others. Noted for his pristine production quality and contemporary melodic approach, the Cali resident wrapped up the year with the mainstage Beatport chart success ‘Velocity', a track recorded alongside American artist Luke Alexander. Meanwhile, DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer INA NIA has emerged with a diverse array of sounds, showcasing her versatility in almost every genre as INA, and in the darker realms of melodic techno as NIA. Her music reflects a harmonious blend, capturing the essence of various genres and delivering a unique experience. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, AKSOM and INA NIA make their collaborative debut with ‘Ale', alongside a remix from Nosssia.

Beginning with the lighter monochromes of the original mix, the duo's craftsmanship reveals itself, as nostalgic melodies flicker atop tight kick drums and perfectly contoured grooves, eventually leading to the introduction of angelic vocal phrasing. The main break proves to be highly emotive, flowing through wavy arps, wispy vocal fragments and trance-inspired motifs, charming in essence and building with a classy sense of restraint, before a vortex of drums sparks a cleverly co-axed drop and blissed out finale.

The release concludes with Nosssia making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Ale'. Hailing from Colombia, Nosssia first emerged in 2019 on the strength of early tracks 'Astro' and 'Survival'. Immediately regarded for his melodic sound, the rising talent would be tipped as a force within the the newly coined melodic house & techno genre, eventually earning support from a broad range of tastemakers, from Agents of Time, Artbat, Fideles, Innellea and Tale Of Us to Nick Warren and Sasha Carassi. Projects on respected imprints such as Einmusika, Running Clouds, Siona and UPPERGROUND would soon follow, and with that Nosssia became a Beatport sales chart staple. Now, presenting his first production of 2024, Nosssia makes his Clubsonica debut with a stellar rendition of ‘Ale'. Opting for a more direct dancefloor approach, the Colombian conveys the mood from the original beautifully, for a tougher and slightly less vocally dominant, yet equally emotive and dramatic version that's driven by devilish stabs and siren-like synth flares, making it perfect for those peak time moments.

Neuralis whose real name is Roberto Martinez is a Spanish DJ and producer originating from Granada. His interest in electronic music started at a very young age and has consumed his adult life.

His initial exposure to electronic music developed in his home town to the sounds of Techno and House. At his first major event Creamfields in Almeria, Spain he was introduced to Progressive House and other melodies by artists such as John Digweed, James Holden and Hernan Cattaneo.

He got his first pair of decks aged just nineteen and started to perform at venues across his home town. As he gained experience and a bigger repertoire he started to venture further performing in cities such as Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, and Málaga.

He has shared the wheels of steel with renowned heavyweights including Guy J, Darin Epsilon, Quivver, Nick Muir, Kamilo Sanclemente, Quivver, Cid Inc, Hernan Cattaneo, and many more. His productions focus on Melodic and Progressive House and Techno and he has releases on a fair few labels.

He's currently based in Seville and holds regular events across the urban sprawl in collaboration with other electronic artists based in the city and beyond. His main focus is to develop his production abilities and release quality melodies in the coming year.

His music is constantly supported by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Gai Barone, Nicolas Rada, Dj Ruby, Ruben Karapetyan, Dowden, Paul Thomas, Alexey Sonar, Fonarev, Mayro and many others.

Immersed in electronic music since a young age, Patrik Khach has devoted his life to bringing people together through music. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Patrik is responsible for curating events sought out by DJ’s, attendees and many electronic music brands. Working for and along side industry giants, Patrik has created and maintained a high level of integrity that ripples through the city as one of the most in-demand acts. 

2016 was a defining year for Patrik as he and his team developed SBCLTR, an on-going series of meticulously curated parties in Los Angeles. This caused Patrik to become internationally recognized for his efforts in the Electronic Music Industry. The platform has served as an outlet for creative ingenuity and encourages artistic expression, allowing talent to breakthrough to a receptive audience in an atmospheric setting where events are strategically held in different locations. 

Pipe & Pochet was established in partnership with Ali Farahani as well in 2016. Together they have built the music label to be recognized as a leading source for Organic House music. Future projects promise Patrik is the face to watch as he continues to succeed each journey of his flourishing career. He sends an open invitation to the world for people to connect, one track at a time from one dance floor to another.

He is a vital member of the Argentine headquarters of the iconic BURNING MAN, where he not only performs at various events but also curates and produces distinct experiences that push the boundaries of electronic music. Today, he thrives in the enigmatic world of underground parties with PERSEVERANCE, his own cycle where he invites renowned artists with great musical affinity to perform alongside him.

Christian has had the opportunity to share his music at some of the most renowned clubs and parties in Buenos Aires. His residencies have included clubs such as JET, LIV, PACHA, OLIVIA's, PM, and Alucination.

Throughout his career, he has performed in cities including Miami, Florianópolis, Asunción, Bocas del Toro, Montevideo, Punta del Este, Barcelona, and Tulum.
