This is my very first attempt at a remix, and it’s been such an incredible experience! 🎶 Taking 'Quest for Peace' by Kibeatzer & Nick Ray into a liquid and atmospheric Drum & Bass journey was pure joy. Huge thanks to RepostExchange for hosting the contest and giving me this amazing opportunity! 🙌🎧✨ I hope you feel the vibe as much as I did creating it!

My "Quest For Peace" Remix!

This is my experimental take on "Quest For Peace" by Nick Ray & Kibeatzer for the @re-ex remix competition. It's safe to say it steps outside my usual style, with prog house and glitch - tried to keep things fresh and unpredictable. I also tried to capture the push and pull between inner turmoil and the search for peace that Nick Ray’s soulful vocals and Kibeatzer's energetic production represent. Not an easy thing to do!

I had a blast exploring new sounds, chopping up the stems, and pushing my creative boundaries. Thanks for providing the stems and allowing us to play around (GarageBand was also very useful initially, and not something I'd expect!)

I've been tested by an examiner from the Australian Conservatorium of Music & apparently I have perfect pitch and blessed with the ability to accompany any musician, add hooks to any genre - as a singer I’m not great but who cares thats why most is spoken word.
