Peter Peyman Farzinpour enjoys a diverse career as a conductor, composer, multimedia producer, music professor, and arts entrepreneur. He is currently the Executive / Artistic Director and Conductor of the new music and multimedia group, ENSEMBLE / PARALLAX as well as Director of Farzinpour Creative Multimedia Ventures. He has traveled and conducted throughout major concert halls in the United States, Canada, and throughout Europe where he has conducted in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czechia, and Bulgaria. He is equally at home with the classics, as well as adventurous, avant-garde music, much of which he has commissioned and premiered, not to mention world and rock music (where he got his start as an electric guitarist!). A hallmark of his performances are collaborations with world-renowned multimedia artists, as well as choreographers and dance companies. His group, ENSEMBLE / PARALLAX, has become the first music ensemble to commission and perform each of its compositions with a new, multimedia work created exclusively for each composition.

Farzinpour started his career with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and continued as Director of New Music with the LA County Museum of Art, where he was responsible for creating innovative concerts that were awarded first place by ASCAP/Chamber Music America for Adventurous Programming of Contemporary Music. He has previously also served as Music Director and Conductor of Erato Philharmonia in Los Angeles, which was dedicated to performing standard and contemporary classical repertoire alongside multimedia, dance, and live painting. He has also served as the Music Director and Conductor of the Rivers Symphony Orchestra and the Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra in Massachusetts, and has also held the position of Conductor in Residence with Opera Cabal, with which he led the world staged premiere of the Georg Friedrich Haas opera ATTHIS at the Kitchen in NYC. The sold-out performances were hailed as a “mesmerizing production” by the New York Times.

Classics were given to us by God so that we could go through our life path more easily. It calms us when we are in despair and sadness, inspires us in moments of joy, gives us a divine state of mind that cannot be described in words.

I remember my childhood when my father (Knuchboot) started DJing with vinyl. Mostly techno. Then he played with his friends in a group (perhaps still known to some as Frequenzfabrik). It was all between Aachen/Heinsberg/Cologne.
When the whole hype about controller DJing started, I slowly dared to try it out. Unfortunately, I wasn't old enough to play at one of the parties. And that remained the case since the group broke up. That was about 13 years ago. I'm gradually getting more and more familiar with it. I'd also like to try playing vinyl. Now I'm fighting to be able to play in a club somewhere and improve. To make people smile and spread good cheer with my music. Techno, hard techno, and drum and bass are my favorite styles. But minimal and house are also pretty cool.

🎧 Der Weg zur DJ-Karriere

Die Leidenschaft von Track Memory für elektronische Musik begann in seiner Jugend. Beeinflusst von Groove und Rythem der Clubszene und der Vielfalt elektronischer Subkulturen entschloss er sich, selbst als DJ aktiv zu werden. Sein Künstlername "Track memory" stammt aus dem Gedankenspiel das ein Set nichts anderes ist wie "memory" Spiele. Jedes Lied hat sein perfektes Gegenstück, wobei jeder Track eine Geschichte erzählt und Gefühle und Atmosphäre schaft die den Zuhörer magisch Einnimmt und Beinflusst.

Track memory  ist bekannt für seine genreübergreifenden Mixtapes, die eine breite Palette elektronischer Musikstile abdecken:

Techno & Acid: In Mixtapes wie "Abstract Techno Tape" und "Ravetape" kombiniert er treibende Basslines mit hypnotischen Melodien.

Psychedelic & Ambient: Mit dem "Psyodelic Tape" und "Melancholie Stunden" schafft er atmosphärische Klanglandschaften, die zum Träumen einladen.
