Made using my eurorack modular system together with the Moog DFAM, ASM Hydrasynth and TR-8S drum computer.
Vocals are mine recorded at different moments.

/Random Night Tapes/Monochrome Movement

This is one of my first patches ever since I upgraded to a bigger case. It really showcases the reverb/delay sound from Electus Versio. The bassy drone is coming from Mutable Instruments Plaits and the squeaky bells are from the Noise Engineering BIA. Intellijel Metropolis is sequencing the Plaits and Varigate 4+ is sequencing the BIA. The rest is random modulation and some envelopes from Peaks. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the Wasp filter!

Modular Ambient Jam #001 (featuring Electus Versio)

I wondered if I could make a song from a random sequence. This is the result. Everything was taken care of by the modular. Pure random awesomeness. I added the drums and edited the song later. Hope you enjoy.

Patch details: bass is coming from Mutable Instruments Plaits, then through the Doepfer Wasp filter. The rest is Noise Engineering BIA through a WMD C4RBN filter. Everything is mixed together and sent to the Noise Engineering Electus Versio for some ambiance. The random sequence is coming from the Intellijel Metropolis.

I always felt the Metropolis was great for creating EBM melodies. Here's a simple and slowly evolving patch made mostly from MI Plaits (lead) and NE BIA (groove). Percussion, vocal samples and arrangement were added later on Ableton.

Patching details: Metropolis is sequencing MI Plaits; the BIA is triggered by the Varigate 4+ and modulated by the Voltage Block; the Voltage Block is also modulating the filter frequency on the Wasp; the Happy Nerding 3xMIA is attenuating the modulation while the 3xVCA is taking care of sidechaining the lead to the kick, attenuating and mixing the rest. Towards the end of the track there’s a lead sound made from NE BIA (spacy toms) and IME Piston Honda mk3.

Just another little downtempo modular jam. Noise Engineering BIA is doing most of the work. Mutable Instruments Plaits is taking care of the pad. Reverb/delay from Electus Versio.
