PREMIERE: Denis Agamirov, VS20 - Elysium (Nopopstar Remix) [DIGITAL FACES]

Born in Tehran, Iran, as Pooya Memarzadeh (a.k.a. Dynatonic) is a House & Techno producer, audio engineer, guitarist & DJ. He studied music at Tehran Music Conservatory, the International College of Music and graduated from the School of Audio Engineering (SAE), in Dubai. Dynatonic remixed and produced music for many famous Iranian artists such as Behzad Leito, Alireza JJ, Sijal, Amir Tataloo, Sami Beigi, Rezaya, Reza Bahram, Farzad Farokh, Macan Band among other artists. He also took the spotlight as the lead guitarist and DJ in many of their concerts. Now he continues his role as a DJ and  producer as well as producing his DJ show called “Dynatomix” on the biggest Iranian music platform “RadioJavan”. He release his international music on Prison Entertainment, Poolside Recordings, Ready Mix Records, Wanderlust Music & PalmTherapySounds. He is a former member of the duo band and Persian electronic music festival called “Kishiza”.

Ascetic Saga is a Kyiv-based DJ whose sound balances rhythmic drive, deep textures, and melodic Afro House. Inspired by the emotive storytelling of Keinemusik and the percussive richness of African-rooted genres, his sets blend energy with refined musical sensitivity.

Although just a year into his journey behind the decks, Ascetic Saga already crafts immersive musical narratives through Afro Tech, Melodic Afro, Afro Deep, and beyond. His mixes stand out for their sense of subtle tension, groove, and an unmistakable love for storytelling.

He is currently focused on DJing and curates Jumanne Sessions — a weekly mix series where modern Afro aesthetics meet introspective moods. 

Each mix is a step in shaping his unique identity: precise, poetic, and constantly evolving.

Her musical journey began with a deep passion for electronic music from an early age, which later evolved into a professional career. In a short period, she has released three singles on Uncles Music, with her tracks making it into the label's bestsellers.

During her sets, Arsia creates true magic: her striking appearance and carefully curated performance looks make her stand out. With an intuitive sense of rhythm and energy, she effortlessly connects with any audience.

Tony de la Torre (DJ DLT) has been throwing down Disco, Funk, House & International beats since 1991, starting out behind a pair of 1200’s during the early 90’s Sacramento & San Francisco, CA underground music scene. Throughout his DJ career, he has played festivals and parties in cities all over the USA, currently residing in beautiful Mendocino, CA. 

His focus is to fill the dance floor by playing high-energy, soulful, psychedelic, funk & disco originals and remixes from all over the world.

I was born and raised in the San Francisco bay area and feel lucky to be residing in SF in an especially lush and fertile environment for electronic music culture at this moment. Lately I've been mixing deep house, tech house, minimal..... but as always, tracks are whatever I find atmospheric, well produced, and/or have a certain vibe/groove.  When I hear a track for the first time, my jaw hits the floor and I yell "WTF is THIS?!?" ...that's the track I want to play, all of the time! :-D

In 2003 I started playing vinyl with the intention of mixing and DJing.   I switched to CDJs in 2010 -  vowing never to travel to the desert with records again - which was becoming a yearly phenomenon.              
As much as I was loathe to abandon the vinyl format, the realization that vinyl is not environmentally sustainable, that I would be able to collect more music, and support more artists by moving to digital solidified my conviction.  

I always ID tracks on my mixes I post to the best of my ability, and take care to keep notes during any session - whether it's in the bedroom or playing out live - for the purpose of crediting artists and passing on the enjoyment of great music to the listener.  I hope you enjoy some of the music that moves me.   And, please, please support the artists we love by purchasing their tracks!  :)

You will find several tracks repeated in the mixes I post, which is unorthodox. I broadcast a live DJ set most Tuesday mornings ( Brunch With Pwny on www.mixlr.com/pwny ) and gig actively. I have tracks that survive the test of time and when it's the right time to use an older track, I will do so. Most mixes I post now are recordings of the live broadcast or of a gig.
