“Always Here” is a reflective, neo-soul ballad with jazzy harmonies and folk-inspired storytelling. Jemimah Hiscox’s silky vocals float over glimmering Rhodes and Hammond, warm analog bass, and subtle jazz brushwork, creating a spacious, soulful soundscape. The bridge brings a rhythmic shift with an unexpected scat solo before returning to its intimate core.
The song explores the bittersweet rediscovery of a long-lost connection—not truly gone, just quietly waiting. It will resonate with fans of Corrinne Bailey Rae, Esperanza Spalding, Katie Noonan, and Joni Mitchell.

It was recorded by Pat Harris and produced by Australian jazz icon Jim Kelly. The trio is Jemimah Hiscox on vocals, James Brinkhoff on keys and Thomas Hogarth on drums.

Welcome to Logical Miracle, a project where a lifelong dream meets the cutting edge of technology, brought to life by two passionate creators, one a musician and songwriter, the other an edu tech enthusiast who turns ideas into reality.

Like many, my journey started with big dreams as a child. I imagined myself as a musical genius, learning to play the recorder and later moving on to the violin and guitar. Back then, I had no idea how challenging the music industry could be. As life moved on, new adventures like jobs, holidays, and eventually starting a family took over, and my musical dream slowly faded into the background.

But the story didn’t end there. Over the past 40 years, technology has evolved in incredible ways, creating opportunities that were once unimaginable. Social media has reconnected us with old friends and memories, while AI and music software have revolutionised how we create and share music. The music industry, once an exclusive club, has had to adapt, leaving space for new voices to emerge.

This is where Logical Miracle was born, a collaboration between my love for music and the technical genius of my partner. For years, I wrote poems, not realising they were songs in waiting. Today, with the help of AI, music production software, and my tech-savvy partner, we’ve brought those words to life. The dream of working in a big studio isn’t necessary anymore; with the right tools and expertise, we’re able to create professional-quality music right from home.

Logical Miracle is the result of this collaboration. It’s not just a musical project, it’s a testament to the power of dreams and the possibilities that technology brings. What started as a simple idea has blossomed into something much bigger, a dream shared and fulfilled. Now, it’s time for our music to be heard.

OhMaSoul blend neo-soul grooves, jazzy harmonies, and a cheeky lyrical twist into a sound that's as thoughtful as it is funky. Led by the expressive vocals of Jemimah Hiscox, with deep analog keys from James Brinkhoff and laid-back grooves by Thomas Hogarth, this trio brings heart, soul and body to every track.

Alain Mazijn (Oostende 1960) is mede aanstichter van radio stad in Antwerpen in 1981.
40 jaar maakt hij geen radio meer.
Als jonge cabaretier is hij samen met Hans de Booij het muziektheaterduo CIRCUS STUPIDO.
Als horecaman start hij in Antwerpen tussen 1980 en 1991 de stadskroeg, het swingcafé en grand café salto mortale.
Als festivalpromotor van het Nederlandstalige lied organiseert hij tussen 1988 en 2007 het festival pop Vlaanderen op 10 en 11 juli op de groenplaats in Antwerpen.
Vanaf 2007 maakt hij muziek en teksttheaterproducties voor het productiehuis BLAUW VZW, muziektheater.be
In het coronajaar 21 start hij radio prostaat op:
de Vlaamse wereldradio voor de rijpere luisteraar.
DE DRUPPEL is zijn wekelijkse radioshow met chanson, jazz, satire, parodie, sit-downcomedy en poëzie. De rest volgt. ;)
