This instrumental is about never giving up on yourself and to never give in to what other people are doing cause originality still matters! This track is composed by me and the artwork was also created by me! No AI, samples, or loops were used in this production. This track was inspired by my husband, Oarber who is a hiphop producer! This track was made with Cubasis and I used a midi keyboard for the melodies and my beat pads to do the drums and the scratch sounds I did myself as well! Former record label was Rawbeenhood Records and new label is Oarber and Kanahala No Way aka OK No Way.

Hello and welcome! My name is Selena aka Kanahala born April 16th, 1992 I'm Puerto Rican, French Canadian, and Black and I'm just here doing what I love which is composing emotional high-quality music/making beats in every genre for anyone that may need to hear some inspiring and original music there's something for everyone no matter the genre I make music in all🎶 I have added an orca to my brand due to me trying to make killer beats and also just what orcas stand for which is strength, community, family, wisdom, protection, and resilience and I feel a connection to them and also loved the ocean growing up and nature. They are misunderstood and I could relate with them. If I could make enough money making music I would like to be able to help marine life and the orcas. I've been doing music for over 12 years and grew up listening to all genres rock/industrial being my personal fave, and I'm still learning more production techniques! I learned how to play guitar and piano when I was a kid and in middle school I learned how to sing as well as learned how to play the drums and used Pocketband first in 2010 to upload and create beats then came here since this was another place to showcase my music and being indie, I could have the freedom to post my music and my creative processes. I used to show what I look like, but because I didn't like the unwanted attention I decided to recreate my brand that just focuses on my artistic abilities. Co-owner of Rawbeenhood Records with my husband Oarber whom I met in music theory class in college in 2015 who became my best friend and now my husband who is a very talented audio engineer and musician🎶 Every track is made with passion and hard work and comes from the heart! The equipment I use to create is outdated (surely considered "garbage" on all technical counts) and nowhere near meeting industry standards.  This places limitations on the choices I can make when creating my music, but what am I gonna do?  stop producing/recording songs?  F#*k no.  I can't stop.  I won't stop.  I hope to upgrade some equipment soon, but until then I hope you can enjoy listening to my creations despite the low rent sound production.
