Rapper Bynoe was born and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens (New York). Over the course of the past two decades, he's faced seemingly

insurmountable adversity and overcome debilitating events to stand as a solo artist to be reckoned with; he's seasoned and has a level of both style and authenticity that many artists in today's market are sorely lacking.

Influenced by artists such as Prodigy, Mobb Deep, Bob Marley, CNN, 50 Cent, Maroon 5, Biggie, Nas, M.O.P., and Mary J Blige — and of course surrounded by the aura of the hip-hop Mecca — rapping was second nature to Bynoe. His introduction to the world was alongside C LOE and Marty as 1/3 of the ill-fated group The Predators; It wasn't until he joined Staring 5 (S5) a few years later, though, that he ultimately found success in the game. The group, which also included [in its final iteration] Stack Bundles, Cau2g$, and Chinx went on to work with superstars like Kanye West, Jim Jones, Maino, Lil' Wayne, Tony Yayo, French Montana, and Mobb Deep. This was due in part to the doors opened to the foursome as a result of Stack's affiliation with DJ Clue's Desert Storm imprint. 

The group's collective success was cut short, however, when Stack Bundles was fatally shot outside of his apartment in Far Rockaway. The years that followed saw Bynoe endure not only a three-year jail sentence but — eight years after the death of Stack's — Chinx was killed in a drive-by shooting following a performance in Queens. 

Today Bynoe stands tall [literally] as a man, and artist -- he's both a living breathing tribute to his fallen friends and a leader. "I'm working harder than ever," he notes when discussing his current work ethic. To date, he's released two full-length projects, Luke 11:23, and the more recent Still Riot On Everything, which features guests such as Oun-P and Prodigy. It also features the single "End of the Day," featuring the late Chinx. 

With a catalogue that features superstars, an ungodly work ethic, and voice that is undeniable NYC hip-hop, Bynoe is cleared for takeoff.

Shahin Badiei, He was born in 1995, better known by his stage name Shahemoon, is an Iranian Turkish rapper, singer and songwriter whose music blends trap, hip-hop and Afrodrill.

While a great artist's music can tell most of their story, there are always details that take time to work their way into the fabric of songs and become synonymous with the personas that capture fans.

Devin Miles' musical journey has just begun, but he's already figuring out how to tap into his particular perspective to bring elements other rappers might not imagine. Devin lives for creation. 

Whether sitting at the piano–the instrument his played since an early age, turning the heads of friends and family who inspired him to pursue music–or studying Renaissance art, Devin's days are full of unexpected creative forces. While some rappers might dream of hopping on stage with their chart-topping idols, Devin would rather the impossible chance to bring out Ray Charles and jam on the keys. 

His music serves up the crossroads of influences, reflecting the current landscape while allowing Devin's smooth flow, particular musicality, casual cool, and still-developing story to shine through.

This imagination and eclectic perspective–born in a household where music of all types was a constant factor–are the fuel that feed Devin's artistic growth. 

Though his hometown Pittsburgh doesn't possess the storied hip-hop history of some of America's other big metropolises, its recent string of successes in building stars through the independent grind has prepared the 22-year-old for the work necessary to rise from internet buzz to real world notoriety.

He might not be able to resurrect Ray, but Devin is well on his way to leaving a mark on independent hip-hop and climbing to heights beyond the confines of any one genre.
