LTP host David Boylan is stoked to catch up with chef Brandon Zarb ten years after they recorded a show in Ferndale for Public House. This time it's the fabulous new Lola's Taco Bar in Grosse Pointe Woods.  Brandon has put his own culinary spin on traditional Mexican delights along with cerveza and margaritas.

Hello! My name is Troy Walker, and I am an American Singer-songwriter / musician that mainly writes folk/indie songs. I have been told that I have a unique and warm style of playing that complements my voice to bring out the emotions embedded in my lyrics – the heart and soul of any music. 

Being the child of a father that had a country band had its perks. I got to tag-along to music rehearsals and some shows. I had soon realized that music was something that spoke to me in ways nothing else could not. It was then when I embarked on my own music journey. 

I play the following instruments: guitar, bass, drums, and harmonica. Some of my influences are Gregory Alan Isakov, John Prine, Ron Sexsmith, and Mark Knopfler. 

I do all my song mixing and mastering myself in limited capacity.
