Bad Notes with Love - Live

This is the fifth piece I composed after teaching myself music production. 
I created it using a free music production platform, primarily relying on basic GM-2 sounds and some synthesizers I'm not familiar with. 
Since I lack knowledge in music theory and mixing, I could only monitor through cheap speakers and work purely by intuition. 
The result? I’d say I'm barely satisfied with it.

I first conceived this melody a decade ago, shortly after completing my piece Children's Dream, when I was just beginning my self-taught journey in music production. 
However, due to certain personal and life circumstances, I never finished it, and eventually I stopped learning music altogether. 
These past ten years have taken me on a long and challenging journey. Throughout, the melody kept replaying in my mind, yet I didn’t feel capable of completing it. Over time, I came to see this piece as a reflection of that journey itself. 
Perhaps that's why it took me a full ten years to finally finish it.
But, just as the ending of this piece suggests, this journey is not yet over. I will continue onward.

There is no true distinction between reality and dreams, as both are merely perceived appearances.
Yet appearances are constantly shifting, and, compared to absolute truth, they remain no more than fleeting illusions. 
Thus, to stop identifying with illusions is to begin moving toward truth. However, truly breaking out from within the dream is no easy task.
Truth and illusion are not opposing forces; 
truth eternally exists, while illusion has never truly been. 
Still, truth is not “better” than illusion—its only merit lies in the fact that it is not a lie. 
Our small lives are but a slumber. 
Yet where there is a dream, there is also a dreamer.

A Song Abandoned Ten Years Ago — 夢覺: Breaking Through the Dream

La profession de DJ suppose un sens artistique développé et une passion sans borne pour la musique. Comme de nombreux professionnels de la musique, le DJ est à l'affût de toutes les tendances du moment, mais doit également anticiper celles de demain. Pour cela, il doit aiguiser sa curiosité et ne pas hésiter à diversifier sa culture musicale au-delà de ses domaines de prédilection. Ressentir et comprendre la conception des morceaux est indispensable pour enchaîner une programmation de manière fluide et faire les bonnes transitions. Le DJ doit sentir l'humeur de son public pour le satisfaire. La technique occupant une place prépondérante dans sa pratique, le DJ se doit de maîtriser parfaitement sa table de mixage, mais également les différents outils informatiques à sa disposition. Il doit être polyvalent, c'est-à-dire être capable de s'adapter à tous les supports musicaux, que ce soient les vinyles, les CD ou les fichiers numériques.

D'autre part, le métier repose sur des horaires décalés et de fréquents déplacements. En effet, le DJ travaille de nuit et souvent le week-end. Il faut donc disposer d'une bonne endurance physique et d'une hygiène de vie saine pour pratiquer cette activité sur le long terme. Le DJ travaille debout, au milieu de la foule et souvent dans des endroits où il fait très chaud. Enfin, le métier demande un sens du relationnel aiguisé pour espérer percer dans le métier. Le bouche-à-oreille est une pratique répandue dans le milieu. Le DJ doit se montrer avenant et commerçant pour se faire un nom ou fidéliser une clientèle de boîtes de nuit ou de clubs dans lesquels il pourra se produire régulièrement
