Been sitting on this one for a while! I laid this one down just over a year ago, but due to some scheduling issues it only premiered yesterday at Virtual Furmix '25: Tales Of Neverland.

This was one of my very early delves into what I could achieve with heavy use of stem separation. There're defintely parts of it which I'd tackle differently now, but I think it's still a pretty solid set!

Three months after the release of Egyptian producer DJ Wah and Italian percussionist Devidrums' first collaborative set, Deep Fall, we're treated to two new takes on EP highlights. The men behind the record step up first to deliver a fresh rework of 'Midnight Hustle'. While the original is a languid, warming, bass-heavy shuffler underpinned by downtempo breaks, this new interpretation re-frames it as a lightly funky slab of mid-temop dub disco excellence. Pal Ian Ash reworks 'Lost In Ibiza', turning what was a string-laden slab of break-powered mid-tempo excellence into a squelchy synth-bass-powered roll through jazz-funk/nu-disco fusion.

It’s the creation of Angelos 'Timewarp' Stoumpos (aka Timewarp inc) since 2004, Timewarp Music, was inspired by the fresh Nu-Funk ,Dub & Freestyle Electronic music stream.

The producers that complete Timewarp Music family are spread all around the world, while some of them have been introduced in the discography, others have international careers with some of their tracks to be a 'must' for every freestyler that respects himself. With an impressive artist roster that counts more than 50 main artists and 200 hundred remixers to date.

The past 14 years, since 2004 up to now, Timewarp Music has released more than 10 CD’s, one 7” vinyl. Jimi Needles' musical roots are in hip hop, soul, funk, and disco, but on the turntables he combines pin-point scratching, intricate cuts, breaks, and bass music to craft a unique and high-energy sound that spans genres and keeps the crowd moving! His dynamic sets always pay homage to old-school classics while blending modern sounds, ensuring every performance is one-of-a-kind.

Known for his genre-defying party mixtapes, deck-defying festival performances, and an array of bootlegs and original productions on labels like Swing & Bass, Thick Boy Records, and Jungle Strikes, Jimi has built a reputation as both a skilled turntablist and an innovative producer.
