Written in fast 7s, the piece starts out with a single Marimba note joined by rhythmic short strings and arpeggiated glockenspiel. The Horns come in with a heroic melody before being joined by the trombones, low instruments and the percussion ensemble. The melody gives way to a gliding piano and choir with a sweet piccolo melody before a crescendo into a massive epic fanfare.
