I know you’re no demon, but know you’re not a saint. I believe you might just have some charm. Still I have some questions if the answers can be shared, Before we stroll together – arm in arm.  Is pickleball the only sport that I’m allowed to play? Will the tightness in my back and shoulders ever go away? Is it true this hair of mine will surely keep on grow’n? Not out of my head – but out my ears and nose.  I know you’re no demon, but know you’re not a saint. I believe you might just have some charm. Still I have some questions if the answers can be shared, Before we stroll together – arm in arm.  I anticipate we’ll have the time to know each other well. You’ll have lots of stories that I hope you’re free to tell. Maybe I can teach you something as we share this cup. Growing old is mandatory – but not growing up.

更に食品や光熱費の高騰化で倒産が増えています。
東京商工リサーチによりますと、昨年に倒産した焼肉店が45件とのことです。原因は輸入肉と電気代の高騰化で採算が合わなくなったとのことです。とくに小さいお店は資金力不足で打撃を受けました。
円が110円くらいまで戻ることも大切ですが、基本経済のブーストが何より大切です。未だに株価上昇と円安のシーソーゲームが続いています。
すでにシーソーゲームでないはずなのに。

I did a performance at a senior facility in New Hampshire in a specialized area for approximately forty residents. Some of these folks were in ‘Geri-chairs’ (large, cushioned, lounge-type chairs with wheels on them), some in wheelchairs, some sitting on the seat of their walker and a few in regular chairs with their canes close by. The staff was out of the room. I assumed they felt comfortable leaving me alone with the residents knowing if something happened, I would call out for assistance. I performed a couple of songs and noticed not one person applauded or made any sort of sound or motion to convey they were enjoying my music. In fact, they didn’t respond at all. They just…stared at me. 
A lot of them were reclined back with their mouths open and a vacant look on their faces. While in the middle of a third song, my mind started wandering to random thoughts of, “Why am I here?” “These people are zombies.” “A radio would be just as good for these people instead of paying me.” But…I am a professional. I was getting paid and it’s my job to perform as if I was at Carnegie Hall, regardless of the lack of response.
So, I started into my fourth song and when I was halfway through, I happened to glance down at the hand of a man who was about two feet in front of me to my left, leaning back in a Geri-chair, with his mouth open and a vacant, eyes-wide-open look on his face. I noticed his index finger was moving up and down in perfect time to the tempo of the song I was singing. I then look over to a woman off to my right in a wheelchair and she was ever-so-slightly moving her head to one side, again, in perfect time to the tempo of my song. I then looked off to the left and noticed another woman moving her foot, ever-so-subtly, and yes…in perfect time to my song. I couldn’t believe it. I was such a fool. I was so embarrassed and ashamed of myself. There were people inside of those bodies. And…they were enjoying my music.
I soon came to realize if those three displayed some subtle signs of enjoyment, there must be more of them who weren’t capable of doing so because they didn’t have control of their bodies. I finished my show and immediately went over to a staff person and asked about the residents. She shared some stories about some of them. When I got home, I started writing a song to honor and represent this particular group of the senior population.

I have always loved music. I learnt piano as a child and have dabbled with guitar without ever learning it ... until now! I have been in choirs most of my life but have not really delved into making music until the last few years. After initially playing around with Garage Band, I moved on to Logic Pro and that's how nearly all of my music has been produced.

I use digital software, guitar and keyboards to produce my original music. I compose and edit using Logic Pro. Other people's vocals or collaborative vocals for any track really are very welcome! 

I love the interaction on Soundcloud and the comments from other musicians and composers are so helpful and supportive. Keep making music everyone!

Daniël Majoor, also the producer behind the Alio Forte project,  has been involved with electronic music since childhood.

Growing up with the music of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, OMD, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, and later the Ambient scene, he tried to emulate his idols with the few instruments he had. Daniël was primarily interested in sounds and learned to create his own sounds on borrowed synthesizers and keyboards.

Daniël is self-taught, doesn't read music, and taught himself to play.

Later in life, he was able to create his own studio and fulfill his dream: being surrounded by synths and technology, as in the photos of Jarre and Vangelis, while creating his own soundscapes and compositions.

Daniël doesn't see himself as a musician, but rather as someone who "paints" with sound. Just as a painter mixes his colours, Daniel continually experiments with new sounds until he has found the right atmosphere.
