Deejay, Trance Anthems - Summer Sessions (Live @Stadium, Livingston)

Digging some of my records to put together a journey through some uplifting but less 'over exposed' old skool trance. 

Expect driving baselines, big synths and euphoric breakdowns. For that proper 90s ‘3am on the dancefloor’ feeling. These records are heavily influenced by late night sessions at The Gallery, Turnmills.

Gray: Trance Journey

Singularity UK put on yet another top tier event a few weeks back, this time joining forces with the amazing N4 Records and the infamous Odyssey Sound System. With sound literally rattling the windows at Fox & Firkin, and a top notch lineup showcasing Jungle, Hardcore, Trance and other 4x4 goodness, this event will be one for the books.

So here's some context for this one. I popped in to Next Door Records Two on my lunch break the other day, and though I was really disappointed to see the lack of Jungle / DnB, there was, hidden amongst loads of basic ass genres, some old skool trance-y, euro-y, tribal-y house that I thought could go off at Free Party. Having never bought a 4-to-the-floor record before, I figured it was best to get a bunch to actually mix together, so the bargain bin got ravaged and £50 got spent but I got home that evening, hit the record button, and here we are. Some blends may not be the smoothest, and unlike with my DnB mixes, I didn't really double drop anything - figured with this kinda stuff its best to let the tunes play out. Lmk your thoughts <3
