Happy 2B Hardcore is a series that needs no introduction. Big eye catching smileys, impulse purchases, kandi kids, Hullabaloo, 200,000+ copies sold. Not bad for a genre as niche as this. 

This series is very much a relic of the past in 2025, but DAMN if it's not fun to look back and indulge every once in a while. As such, I've nabbed 21 of my favorite tunes across the whole series, and mixed them in sequential order as they appeared on their OG album. Must've re-recorded more than 10 times, but i DID have lots of fun...

Drum and Bass, Liquid, Jungle, Atmospheric, and Old School. My mixes are influenced by a variety of eclectic sounds and highlight my commitment to musicality. Jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop are engraved in my heart, which to my doctor's horror beats at 175 syncopated intervals per minute, perhaps from having grown up on ADD stimulants and acid, or from having stayed awake for the better part of the 90s creeping across sticky warehouse floors.

Nevin Hersch is a classical pianist, ambient & techno producer, DJ (decade at Berlin Nightclub, Hydrate, Jai Ho Bollywood Dance Parties, Cellblock), nature field recorder and yoga/meditation enthusiast. His classic work was under the alias Voxbox.

PRETZ is a rising DJ originally hailing from South East England, now making waves in Melbourne's vibrant underground scene. With a deep-rooted passion for garage and house music, PRETZ blends infectious basslines, crisp rhythms, and soulful grooves to create a sound that resonates with both old-school heads and new listeners alike. Drawing inspiration from the rich UK underground tradition, his sets are a journey through nostalgic beats and forward-thinking production, always with an eye on moving the dancefloor.
