Progressive Classics 1998-00 | Old Skool Mix #79

Drum and Bass, Liquid, Jungle, Atmospheric, and Old School. My mixes are influenced by a variety of eclectic sounds and highlight my commitment to musicality. Jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop are engraved in my heart, which to my doctor's horror beats at 175 syncopated intervals per minute, perhaps from having grown up on ADD stimulants and acid, or from having stayed awake for the better part of the 90s creeping across sticky warehouse floors.

Nevin Hersch is a classical pianist, ambient & techno producer, DJ (decade at Berlin Nightclub, Hydrate, Jai Ho Bollywood Dance Parties, Cellblock), nature field recorder and yoga/meditation enthusiast. His classic work was under the alias Voxbox.

Open-format, Genre-fluid, or whatever. 😸 By the power of being an old bitch, I know a lot of cool music, old and new, and I like mixing it all up!
