This consept is called "Hvitsten Rolig" , and the four of us,  from the undergound rave scene, are invited every year to play for the locals of Hvitsten. The location is a pub near the sea, its a summer evening and we are challenged to play some summerbreeze music in the sunset. And I love it !! Last year my theme was to lift up the most poweful women that I know of. And so it became this year as well. All these women that I have picked out has a story, they have fought for the positions that they made. Strong women, that create, produce, write lyrics, sings, playes. So for all women out there, make art !! Believe in yourself, set goals and focus on your path.

고양이 아침은 일상의 소소한 장면 속에 스며든 쓸쓸함과 그리움을 담아낸 곡입니다. 아침에 고양이 밥을 챙겨주고, 물 한 잔을 마신 뒤 하루를 시작하는 평범한 루틴은 노래 속 화자에게 작은 위안이자 살아가는 힘이 됩니다. 하지만 그 속에는 여전히 잊히지 않는 ‘그 사람’을 향한 마음이 깔려 있습니다. 옥상에서 담배를 피우며, TV를 켜보며, 꿈에서라도 마주치길 바라지만 끝내 닿지 못하는 그리움은 흐릿한 기억 속에만 남아갑니다.

곡 전반을 감싸는 Am 코드 진행은 담담하면서도 애잔한 분위기를 유지하며, 반복되는 루프는 일상의 반복성과 감정의 끊임없는 순환을 표현합니다. “저는 그럭저럭 잘 살고 있습니다”라는 가사는 스스로를 다독이는 동시에 여전히 마음속 폭풍을 감추지 못하는 고백처럼 들립니다.

‘고양이 아침’은 단순한 하루의 기록이자, 사소한 습관 속에서 사람의 부재와 그리움이 어떻게 드러나는지를 보여주는 서정적인 노래입니다. 담담한 톤과 절제된 멜로디는 오히려 청자의 감정을 더욱 깊게 건드리며, 일상 속 작은 의식이 어떻게 삶을 지탱하는 힘이 되는지 노래합니다.

@ Bogdan Markowicz lives in Poland in the city of Warsaw. He loves experimenting with electronic music, such as ambient, chillout, scoremusic, house and sometimes hiphop. Bogdan invites you to his world of music and self-expression :)

Her fascination for electronic music began back in '97 when she danced to Dj Tiesto's "Magic" at Blå in Oslo. She immediately fell in love! Music held such power; it could transform an entire room of people into pure happiness. You don’t need to explain yourself, it just is… The sounds, the rhythms, the lights, the dancing people, the art. 
Since that day, she had harbored a dream of playing herself. Life took its course, but it also presented her with an opportunity. So, after 25 years, she finally found herself at home, in her kind of universe. Her gateway to this world was through trance, and she still draw inspiration from the sounds of the '90s. She love progressive house, trance of course,  deep house, melodic house, techno and tracks with vocals. When music gets her to the point where she feel weightless, she knew she'd found the right frequency for her heart and soul. It fills her with happiness and makes her feel alive❤️‍🔥

She's playes at Hvitsten Underground, Hvitsten Rolig, John Dee in Oslo and Midtåsen Summerfestival in her home town Sandefjord. She’s guested Klubblisten’s podcast show Hotmix, Epiphany Podcast, and made a set for the record label Deep Pleasure Music (US).

Charlie K is a geographer and musician. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography and focuses on spatial theory and practical academic guidance. He has authored books such as Spatiotemporal Compression, Survival Recipes for Graduate School, and Python for Everyday Programming. His work blends geographic insight with interdisciplinary approaches, offering both theoretical depth and practical advice. Charlie is also active in teaching and mentoring students in the fields of geography and digital research methods. Recently, he has also been composing music and has written over twenty songs. As soon as they are arranged, he hopes to share them publicly and wishes to gain wide attention for his musical work.
