Queerfeindlichkeit, sexistische Ausbeutung und Unterdrückung, sowie sexistische/ queerfeindliche Gewalt und Ausgrenzung: Das sind einige der Fluchtursachen, von denen Frauen* und Queers obendrein noch betroffen sind. In unseren heteronormativen und patriarchalen Gesellschaftsstrukturen und politischen Systemen, sind diese gender- und sexualitätsbezogenen Fluchtursachen nicht selten. In der ersten Folge der Reihe “Frauen* und Queers on the Move” des Blindspots-Podcasts, sprechen wir über diese Fluchtursachen. Frauen* und Queers on the Move #1: Fluchtursachen

Die EU schottet sich ab und das europäische Grenzregime versperrt in kolonialer Tradition und auf rassistische Weise legale Einreisemöglichkeiten. Die Abschottung bedeutet Gewalt und Tod viele Menschen auf der Flucht. Für Frauen* und Queers kommen weitere gewaltvolle Mechanismen und Strukturen auf der Flucht hinzu, die eine Flucht für sie noch weiter erschwerden. Zum Beispiel eine Schwangerschaft oder Regelblutungen. Schon in einem gefestigten, ortsansässigen Alltag sind das für menstruierende Personen (in unterschiedlicher Ausprägung und Stärke) herausfordernde und unangenehme Prozesse. Auf der Flucht kommen widrige hygienische Bedingungen und eine mangelnde Privatsphäre zu den körperlichen Strapazen hinzu. Und dann ist da noch die Sorgearbeit. Auch auf der Flucht wird diese hauptsächlich von als Frauen* und Mädchen sozialisierten Personen geleistet. Safer Spaces, Privatsphäre und Austauschmöglichkeiten für queere Menschen gibt es auf der Flucht kaum. Queers werden oft unsichtbar gemacht. Wie Menschen mit diesen widrigen Umständen umgehen und welche Supportstrukturen es gibt, hört ihr in dieser Folge des Blindspots-Podcasts.
