This is a live recording of my dJ set at Technical Dooficulties in May 2025 by Berlin Calling Events, in FNQ, Aus. This was a very fun one to play, all music is released on IONO Music. PROTOBASE is a Psytrance/Trance project by Ralf Dietze based in Berlin. He is a music producer, DJ and sound designer.

Ralf is a former member of the legendary project Protonica. He has been shaping the international Psytrance scene for three decades. From Europe to Asia to Australia as well as North and South America, Ralf has played the world with his music and made the dance floors glow with his driving, powerful and melodic sound. Countless and unique memories have remained and have clearly imprinted themselves in the hearts of the fans.

Ralf's electronic roots have their origins in the Acid Techno of the early days as well as in his love for old synthesizer music. Collecting records was his great passion back then. His DJ beginnings (Ralle Aus Halle) can be dated to the mid-90s. This was followed by an event decoration project (Sehnsedahastes) and a radio show. Ralf moved from Halle (Saale) to Berlin in 2005 to study sound design. He successfully completed his studies. In 2004 he founded Protonica together with Piet Kämpfer.

With PROTOBASE, Ralf creates a new basis to bring melodic structures and elements from Trance and Goa back into Psytrance - the musical core elements of his past and ingredients for the future - his heart's desire! Because: "Music is an attitude towards life, balm for the soul and makes the heart happy!“

Ralf has been running a radio program PSYTRANCE GEMS on the US internet radio station Digitally Imported (DI.FM - https://www.di.fm) since 2024.

Besides his passion for Trance and Psytrance music, Ralf runs another project called COLLIDR - it stands for a broad interpretation of Techno.

Give_Way is the full-power psychedelic trance project engineered by Max Quinn, based in the mountains of Far North Queensland, Australia. SOME1 is an innovative project by Anton Maiko, renowned for his work under the alias Mindwave. With this new endeavor, Anton embarks on an exciting musical journey, pushing boundaries and crafting a distinctively fresh sound. SOME1 seamlessly blends deep, groovy, and robust bass lines with Anton's signature atmospheric elements, creating a captivating narrative within each track. This cutting-edge approach positions SOME1 at the forefront of the Psychedelic Trance scene. In 2019, SOME1 made a remarkable debut with the release of the "Dragonfly EP" on Iono Music, which garnered global attention and acclaim. Following several well-received releases, SOME1's first full-length album, "Delicate Vibration," was unveiled by Iono Music in 2020. The album's impact was substantial, solidifying SOME1 as one of the most compelling and promising acts in the Psytrance community. 2023 marked another milestone for SOME1 with the release of the sophomore album, "Voyager," once again on Iono Music.
