Hey everyone!

It felt like the right time to share another flip I've been working on with you all!

Home is one of those tracks that's always meant a lot to me and is something I've turned to time and time again during tough moments. It carries so much raw emotion, and I really wanted to honour that while bringing a bit of my own flavour to it!

This flip leans into those heartfelt vibes but adds a bit of a hardcore twist, something uplifting and high-energy to match the emotional core of the original that I grew up with! Hopefully it hits you in the feels and gets you moving as much as it does for me!

Hey everyone!

I feel super lucky to have grown up during what I see as the golden age of EDM, and This Is Forever is one of those tracks that’s always stuck with me. It’s brought me so much joy and nostalgia over the years—there’s just something timeless about it (or maybe something that lasts forever 😉).

This happy hardcore flip is my way of sharing that feeling with all of you. I wanted to create something I could play out in my sets to capture that same energy and emotion—and to shine a light on a track that not many people in our scene have had the chance to experience.

Hey everyone!
I’m dv5k — pronounced DUSK, not “dee-vee-five-kay”!

I’m a Happy Hardcore, J-Core, and Frenchcore DJ/Producer based in Melbourne, Australia.

I grew up during what I call the golden era of EDM — surrounded by incredible music from all kinds of genres. Monstercat was a huge part of that journey, and through their releases, I discovered my love for EDM. What started with Electro House, Trap and Brostep evolved into a deep passion for Happy Hardcore and J-Core.

Since starting my DJ journey in 2023 as a finalist at Your Shot (VIC), I’ve had the chance to play all across Australia for major promoters like PHD, Masif, XPR, Fortress, Happily Hardcore, Mirai Nights, and Yokai Beatz. I’ve also supported amazing artists including Fraw, The Straikerz, BMBERJCK, Technikore, JTS, Suae, Unicorn on Ketamine, and many more!

In the past few years, I’ve been proud to help bring Happy Hardcore to a new generation of ravers — earning nominations for Best Overall DJ [Happy Hardcore] and Best Rising Talent [Happy Hardcore] at the 2025 Australian Hardstyle Awards.

My mission is simple: to share the music I grew up with and get everyone hyped on the genre that stole my heart.

BIO:

My passion for music, especially rave stems from a young age. I got my first pair of Numark turntables for my birthday at the age of 13, and I've never looked back! I started mixing Makina, and a little bit of bounce too. I invested in a set of Technics at around the age of 16, and started to take my mixing more seriously, with a lot of practice, and others showing me how to beatmatch properly. At 18 my love for hardcore was reignited, and I started buying hardcore vinyl. With hardcore vinyl pressing in the decline, i took the decision at around 20 to go into the world of digital Dj'ing, and i invested in my first pair of CDJ's. Since then i have upgraded a couple of times, and i now use a pair of Pioneer CDJ 2000's, which i have had for around 7 or 8 years now. I'll try my hand at pretty much any music style, but my main love is for hardcore & makina. Feel free to ask any questions, don't forget to like and share if you listen and enjoy my mixes!
