Processed, retuned as part of a retimed loop vinyl-stylee with the SP-404 mkII. Signal flow for those who are interested then went to be given some buoyant bounciness via the 3-band EQ of The B-Boy Mixers' in-studio analog DJ mixer. 

Recording output of the mixer then captured via soundcard to DAW. No additional processing was made. 5db of gain uplifted the volume of this bassdrum audio sample to -6db, allowing some headroom for the producers out there to effect and compress without too much worry of digital clipping, keeping it under 0db being so vital to maintain character and clarity of sound.

We have a couple of drum machines in the studio, one of them is vintage, the other is modern. The 404 sampler-effector is the most recent addition and brings a range of options when designing or adjusting the sounds of the two studio drum machines.
