A cyclical narrative mix based on the BBC film Threads (1984) and the video game and TV series "Fallout" by Interplay Productions (1997). This mix is designed to be a warning. The mix follows the story of a nuclear bomb simulation, followed by the devastating fallout and nuclear winter caused by the war. The mix then builds up to real 2025 interviews from recent events, leading to fake BBC broadcasts to go back to the beginning. History repeating itself.

The last composition in this mix was made by Ryuichi Sakamoto, who was an anti-war activist. It is related to the horrors and devastation caused by Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

My first time playing Sonic Springs Fest was phenomenal - got to throw down a more aggressive, high energy set than usual, complete with a revamped live percussion rig incorporating most of my full drumkit,.. and then, on top of that, I was invited for guest appearances drumming over nine other sets over the weekend... not even a temporary rain-delay and threat of thunderstorms Saturday could stop us! SSF, I'll 1000% be back.

Launched in late 2024, Auraboros (aka Chris Taylor) has already found solid footing in Canada’s conscious dance scene, with appearances at Chocolate Groove, Daybreaker, Alternity, Floorplay, a resident DJ slot at Ecstatic Dance Toronto, and summer festival appearances including Sonic Springs, Bumi Fest, Open Air Anahata, and Toronto Tantra Fest. 

Juggling both live drumming and DJ mixing at once, his sets take you far from where they begin, through wide-ranging tempos and genres to land you somewhere different yet familiar, just like his own life’s journey.
