Art, just like other social kinds, is often defined in terms of its function, as
people create objects in order to satisfy certain needs. The function of art can
be defined in different ways but is usually expected to provide a rewarding
aesthetic experience.
The requirement for intentionality is so common in the literature that almost all
definitions of art require an artwork to be the product of an intentional action.
definitions of this sort aim to describe not how art is actually thought of, but
how it should be thought of. If we look and see what it is that we call art, we will
also find no common properties, only similarities. Knowing what art is has
nothing to do with being able to define it

What happens in the playin'?(Meta-Mashup)

Close your eyes.
Take a breath.
Settle into your seat. Feel your feet on the ground. 
Feel the chair or the ground supporting you. 
And take one more breath.
Just a simple moment to arrive,
to sense your body.
How is your heart today?
Maybe it helps to bring one hand to the heart
and take a few breaths into your own hand.
The hand can be touching you from the outside
and with your breath, you touch your hand from the inside.
Let your gaze be softly resting inward.
And continue to meet your hand on your chest with your breath.
Softening behind your neck. Sensing your shoulder blades, and seeing
how you can soften there, in the back of the heart.
Sometimes it supports to lift your shoulders up, then letting them
drop down again into a natural position. 
And just enjoy this moment of silence for yourself.
And seeing what wants to come from here.
These silent moments are always full potential. Full of creativity.
Taking one more deep breath into your belly. And exhaling, slightly opening your mouth.
And one more.
Softly opening your eyes. Coming back.
Taking a slow look around your space, wherever you are.
Letting your eyes slowly travel across your room,
or your surrounding.
And arriving. Into the here and now.
