The Papyrus role is taken by my youngest brother, who I basically think of as a smaller clone of myself. ...maybe spliced with a little cat DNA. Hard to say. Aside from being very cat in many ways, he's passionate about animals to the point of wanting to become a veterinarian someday. I really do see a lot of myself in him, especially the passion he has for the things he cares about. Merry Christmas, little bro. Remember that I'm always cheering you on.

Knight In Cat-Eared Armor

Well, here's that sixth track. As promised, I won't bother updating the descriptions of the other five. Anyway, Chowquest is a self-insert AU inspired by the wacky bedtime stories my dad used to tell my brothers and me. It centers around one of our cats, who's stuck in the middle of some serious Dark World shenanigans but she literally just wants to eat her favorite food why is this happening. Major roles are taken by my direct family members, other cats, and also an evil clone of one of my brothers made out of LEGO. Don't ask.

I take the role of Sans. Is this self-centered of me? Probably. I don't really care because I think it fits and also this entire AU is self-centered in its very concept because it mostly appeals to me. Anyway, yeah, it's me! Red! You all know me! And if you don't, the main things you need to know about me for this AU are that I'm very cool and awesome and also terminally online and obsessed with Undertale. Which are about the same thing, really.

Context for the title, by the way: My Dark World design for this AU is basically just me in a tuxedo with my iconic red coat over it. I figure that captures me well enough. Also, I wasn't originally planning to include an Undertale motif; it was just going to be Steam Gardens, but then I realized that Undertale people hearing that would probably just think of Enemy Approaching...so I just decided to go all in on that motif. I think it turned out really well!

My youngest brother takes the role of Papyrus. This strange "Dark World" is full of wonder for him in particular, and he's found himself perfectly placed to be its new hero! He's ready to take on anything... but one little currently-endangered princess cat might feel like she doesn’t need saving.

Since I'm making more tracks for this, I guess I'll elaborate a bit more on the roles in this AU. Taking the Mettaton role is the middle of my brothers. In this amazing dream world, he has his own TV show! (No, this didn't happen just by virtue of him being the Mettaton role...more the other way around, really, as we've joked about the possibility for years.) But what will happen when a new arrival attempts to upstage him? There's only room for one in the spotlight, and it's reserved for the one and only--oh, wait, we're not using real names for this AU. Let's just call him..."The Star." After all, there's only one of him.

this version specifically plays in the basement, which isn't the exit here actually. but you need to go there to get the keys to the exit, since pyroscythe lost them anyway and THEN you can ask him to leave...

Woo, this was fun (and painful). I did it in about a day too. I'm getting better at Megalovania :D
There are some original motifs plucked in there because I couldn't think of anything that would work there. I feel Chara has needed a MegaloSans track for a looong time, so I took it upon myself to do this.
No Megalo Strikes Back because it's not actually an Undertale song and wouldn't fit the track. I'll still use it as a Chara motif in the future because of Dreemurr Reborn, but not today.
