Sometimes being alone is less lonely than being with other people. This song reveals that feeling. This guy has a night of celebration with a woman, including all the prerequisite elements of eating, dining and intimacy, but in the end it’s an empty liaison where he once again reaches too eagerly for the elusive meaningful, fulfilling relationship, only to come up hungover and empty. There is sarcasm in his comparisons to it being a “paradise amour”. The song features the wonderful pedal steel playing of Dakota Holden, which gives a neat country spin to what is a bit of a hybrid between urban folk and country blues. Confetti is a fun and colorful thing, till you wake up late for work with it lining the inside of your shoes.

My name is Janelle Safford and I am a singer-songwriter who makes music in the alternative genre. I hope you enjoy listening to my songs!

Pianist/Composer Michael Jefry Stevens (born 1951 in NYC) performs extensively in Europe, Latin America and North America. He has composed over 320 works for both large and small ensemble. As an active band-leader for over 30 years his working musical ensembles include the Conference Call Quartet, The Fonda/Stevens Group, the Hungarian Eastern Boundary Quartet, the Griffith/Stevens Quartet, The Finnish “Brain Inventory Trio”, and most recently a quartet featuring New Orleans saxophonist Brian “Breeze” Cayolle.  Mr. Stevens’ music has been released on more than 80 cds under his name. He has performed and/or recorded with some of the top names in Jazz including, Dave Liebman, Dave Douglas, Valery Ponomarev, Cecil Bridgewater, Dakota Staton, Bill McHenry, Leo Smith, Perry Robinson, Matt Wilson, Gerry Hemingway, Mark Feldman, Han Bennink and many others.  He was the “Margaret Lee Crofts Fellow” for 2000-2001 at the MacDowell Colony, was a 2006 Centrum Arts composer fellow, was a member of the BMI Jazz Composer’s Workshop, and was voted runner-up Jazz musician of the year (2009) by Chicago JazzNet.  In 2011 the Penguin Jazz Guide voted the Fonda/Stevens Group “Evolution” one of the top 100 important modern jazz recordings.  


Just another white boy with a laptop. Music is the heart and soul of life and nothing keeps the blood pumping more than a good beat. MW has always been a firm lover of dance music and has a broad horizon when it comes to finding the right beat. Taking inspiration from house, drum and bass, jungle and heavy basslines, there are no limits or barriers to what makes a great dance record but MW is willing to transport through it all to keep the body moving.

With music creation starting in his early teens through the likes of Playstation classic Music and it's sequels, Music 2000, Music 3000 and MTV Music Generator, it's only in 2023 that his passion for music was finally realised with the release of Year 3000 using samples from the Playstation 2 game, Music 3000. Inspired and learning new techniques and the art of music production, he has since expanded away from nostalgia to bring his ear for music into a new era of heavy basslines and soulful melodies.

Stories deep in metaphor, self-realization, transcending suffering and pondering beauty and meaning during a humdrum day are among the themes of solo acoustic singer/songwriter/novelist Judson Klein. Judson believes lyrics are essential to what a song can be. The overlooked but ubiquitous, the beautiful but tragic, the hope of what humanity could be, and those moments of clarity that don't come often enough, are in a narrative blended with unique classical, rock, and folk-like motifs. 
Judson's first record is the four-song EP Ephemeral (2002), followed by the full-length Specters (2004),Maya (2005), Wabi and Overman ( both 2011). All will be available on itunes soon.
