Terminal Connection

This month's challenging one synth is BLEASS Monolit. On the face of it, a simple mono synth but with a few extra twiddly bits. This track has nothing to do with the title except that maybe your brain will be a bit more squishy when you're done listening. Maybe turn it down a wee bit, there are a few extra resonant sections...
Again it's the turn of Tracktion Waveform Pro 13 and, oddly (hah) 13 instances of Monolit. This synth has no built in effects but for some reason I didn't use many external effects:

- the usual clip to zero trio of dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClip Zero
- Audiomodern Panflow

PeterBPL - En Último Lugar

This month's One Synth Challenge uses Ragnarok by FullBucket (and CrimsonWarlock). The slightly odd interface took a wee bit of getting used to but I'll not use that as an excuse for this effort. It does contain some passable bird type noises hence the unrelated reflection of a jungle in my living room. This is a first outing for my Exquis so most of it was recorded from live rather than my usual generated MIDI.

Anyway, this is brought to you with Bitwig Studio 5.3 and 19 instances of Ragnarok.  The following plugins were also used:

- dpMeter5, Blue Cat's Gain 3 and KClip Zero on clip to zero duty
- khs Delay, Reverb and Stereo to tart things up a bit
- Panflow to get it moving
- Bitwig's compressor+, eq+, drum machine, delay+ and multi-note
- the inevitable Valhalla Supermassive and almost as inevitable Raum for some reverb flavours
- TDR Kotelnikov and Nova for mastering with a wee bit of KClip Zero 

Also used Modalics Beat Scholar to generate the MIDI for the percussion and iZotope's Tonal Balance for, er, tonal balancing...
