Mirrored Bits is the reflection of my journey at this year’s burn. Friday morning I logged the emotions I experienced each day on the playa and crafted a narrative of songs which inspire those feelings.

This set to me is the joy of coming home, the awe of an alternate reality, the mourning of a lost friend, the hope of a brighter future, the celebration of friendship, the melancholy of a sunsetting romance, the warmth of community, the inspiration to create art.

Friday night I was honored to share my story from behind the decks of the Airpusher art car - parked at the camp I helped build - to an engaged crowd of hundreds of friends and strangers. I re-lived my experiences as I performed the set, deeply feeling each emotion from darkness to light.

I hope this musical journey inspires others to dance and find silence in their minds 🎩🎶🖤

Oscar P was raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Manhattan’s Washington Heights. His roots in the city run deep. Fusing Afro-Latino and deep house influences from NYC, Chicago and Detroit, Oscar has created a unique sound that defines his style today.

Oscar P operates two of the most respected underground house labels, Kolour Recordings and Open Bar Music. As a producer, he’s appeared on labels like Strictly Rhythm, Tool Room, Ultra & Sony Music and his resume includes remixes for Mark Farina, KiNK, Soul Minority, Jamiroquai, Adele, Omar, Todd Terry & Physics.

With 30+ releases cracking the top ten in the last three years, a who's who of music industry pioneers have supported his productions. In 2012 Oscar was named the #8 best selling house music artist of the year on Traxsource. In 2014 he sat on the Best Selling Deep Afro House Artists list at #23 alongside Black Coffee, Osunlade, and Atjazz. 2015 he landed at #13. In 2016 he parked himself at #16 alongside Hyenah, Manoo, Jose Marquez and Boddhi Satva. His album collaboration with Norty Cotto titled “Just Listen” was also named #15 among the top selling albums of the year. 

Recently relocated from New York to San Diego, California, Oscar is tackling the West Coast with fresh perspective. He is currently co-organizing West Coast Weekender, a music conference that will celebrate dance music and provide a new boost for the San Diego music scene.

A personal side project of DJ Emrah Goktas, DJ Bey brings novelty to the international House Music scene combining traditional Turkish sound with Western theory. 

Raising in a household where ''arabesque'' has been a huge part of life honed his unique style of music. Often inspired by early Turkish music, cinema and poetry, his sound unearths the hidden treasures and back alleys of the country's artistic heritage.
