Inspired by AWAY’s hypnotic remix of the original track, we set out to reimagine the song with our own creative vision. Building on the dark, immersive vibe AWAY crafted, we reshaped the lyrics and sound into something uniquely ours.

This remix pairs a slow, haunting vocal delivery with a rhythmic, hypnotic beat, creating a mesmerizing flow that pulls you in deeper with every drop. The psychedelic electropop elements give it an otherworldly edge, combining raw emotion with an entrancing groove.

While we couldn’t track down the original artist Skott, we hope this rendition honors both the inspiration behind the song and AWAY’s breathtaking work.

Sky Temple Spirits was the result of numerous recordings attempting to create a battery of dissonant sounds, to later be repurposed as for granular synthesis. 

However in a strange twist of weirdo creepitude, when playing the recordings simultaneously, an eery symphony emerged. Multiple instruments seems to be perfectly timed with one another to converge upon dissonant heights. 

Although it starts chaotic and senseless, it quickly attains agency and moves in concert. 

The visuals conjured in my mind where that of a dilapidated temple high in the mountains, with the instruments playing the part of restless spirits wandering the grounds.
