this is my submission for the OutputCoLAB Dark Pop Arcade contest. this is probably the most 'pop' track i've ever produced, and the most i've worked with vocals. i had a lot of fun with it. i will definitely be returning to this style again.

UPSESSION Is a dive into a whirling wall of neon lights and rain soaked city streets. very inspired by the works of FKA Twigs/Arca.

Output was honestly the best club I have ever been to. Best sound system and Diggers always put on a clinic here. I was lucky enough to be there for the last night at Output with Digweed putting in 10 hours on that Funktion One system for the last time...

Anyways, this was a year earlier for his "Live In Brooklyn" release party. He played from open to close, which was not the whole set that was broadcasted on Transitisions. I got there about 40 minutes before doors opened. But John arrived a bit late and walked in to Output and told everyone in line, "sorry, got stuck in traffic on the way here. Will make it up to you." - An awesome 5.5 hour set. 

First time I had heard the Ruede Haglestein remix of "Tracer" - it sounded so disgusting on this system and ending with Laurent Garnier's "From The Crypt To The Astrofloor" gave me goosebumps. I basically stayed in the middle of the dancefloor all night long. Enjoy.
