EDM has gone through one of its most explosive growth spurts in 2014 Like Europe, America is embracing the best EDM in the world. We here at Planet EDM Label would like to throw our hat in the ring and pick up amazing tunes for your parties!!! 

It all started in the beginning of 2009, when Richard was 15 years old. He realised his passion for music and wanted to share it with everyone. He started at Dizzmania Music Academy, where DJ Dizzy taught him the basics. After 3 months, he left and wanted to learn the rest by himself.

 Richard wanted to show people what he was capable of doing, so he started Legendary DJ's with his two good friends. They were booked with house parties every weekend and even ended up doing school socials with DJ's such as Gareth Cliff. This was the start of DJ Rein.

 Richard grew into a mature DJ that was able to please any crowd he would come across. He wanted to start being noticed and started moving towards the club scene. The sound Richard could express in his set could set him apart from many other DJ's which he was able to play at many clubs around Johannesburg opening for big local DJ's such as DJ Fresh.

 Richard has felt he grown into a mature DJ and releases mixes, of what he can do, as often as he can. So far he has already been on 5FM's Ultimix Weekend Edition five times (5 May 2012, 3 November 2012, 16 February 2013, 14 June 2014 and 2 August 2014)  and this is just the beginning of DJ Rein. DJing is his passion and tells his story through the music.
