Behind thick clouds of smoke and extravagant outfits, Patch Bae stands on top of the modern music scene, making her mark in the world of Hip Hop and RNB in a way that no one else has before. The genre-bending queen of aesthetic and tone has been tip-toeing her way through the music industry since 2011, originally as a ghost-writer and topliner for some of today’s most influential artists. Her ability to contribute new, exciting sounds and ideas to a generation that lacked individuality inspired her rise from behind the scenes to center stage, where she quickly became the subject of everyone’s attention.

While she shines brightly amongst the stars of Hip Hop and RNB, Patch Bae draws inspiration from every corner of music, including artists such as Frank Sinatra, Jhené Aiko, Slipknot, and more. Her soft, airy voice paired with dark, hard-hitting instrumentals has separated her from her competition, where she’s begun to show off her unique ear for melodies and harmonies - further exposing and improving upon a sound we haven’t heard for decades. As a truly hands-on creative with a skill set developed over years in the industry, Patch Bae plays a role at every step of her art - including production, songwriting, and engineering. The chromesthetic and synesthetic songwriter describes her transition from ghostwriter to artist as “finally getting to hear my true colors.” Her poetic penmanship inspires the listener, as she openly discusses the trials and tribulations she faces climbing the ladder of success, only to find that what the top wasn’t always what she thought it was. Grounded in optimism and unchanging hopefulness,  Patch Bae sees the world through a different set of eyes, and is eager to share her trailblazing vision with the rest of us.
