Prolific multi-instrumentalist Pete Francis is channeling his singer-songwriter roots and influences on his ‘Pete Francis’ EP. Long before launching his career as a founding member of Dispatch, Francis loved Paul Simon’s classic album ‘Graceland,’ and that memory inspired the full-band version of “Baby I Was Wrong.” That song also appears in a stripped-down demo style. “Lost In My Head” was the first track Pete wrote on a funky new bass he’d acquired, and “Just Believe” is a hopeful tune. “No matter what,” the artist tells SoundCloud, “the future is bright.”
