Welcome into a Tuesday edition of the program, we will dive into last night’s game, a classic some are saying, in which the O’s looked to be dominating before blowing a late-inning lead and what felt to be the game before taking a 10th-inning lead and turning around to blow that lead before definitively putting the game out of reach in the the 11th inning. We’re going to go over it all as Griffin heads out for the week starting tomorrow so he’ll try to get his last licks in on Glenn and the O’s before his hiatus. At 10:20am, we’ll take a quick break from the Orioles to talk some Maryland football and meet one of the newest Terps commits, Jianni Davis, who you should know as Vernon Davis’s son, we’ll talk to the senior at Bishop McNamara all about his commitment to UMD, following in his Dad’s footsteps and much more! At 10:40am, we are going to check in with our buddy Eric Arditti from the Exit 52 Podcast and Barstool Sports to talk all about last night’s wild ride, see what else he’s been up to, his pick for manager, the Orioles approach to the trade deadline and plenty else. Then at 11:50am, we are going to switch gears and talk some golf as Loyola Greyhound grad Evan Brown stops by to talk about qualifying for his first PGA event and what his tour debut was like over the weekend at the Rocket Classic over the weekend.

In 1981 KLBJ implemented the “News-Talk” format, which is still in use today.

Over the years many famous names have worked at KLBJ including Nellie Connally, Harfield Weeden (who later became VP of CBS programming), Pat Adelman, J.C. "Jesse" Kellam, John Connally, Bonner McLane, Jake Pickle, Bill Moyers, and of course Cactus Pryor

KLBJ AM won a Marconi Award for “Station of the Year” (medium market category) from the National Association of Broadcasters in 1994 .
