182 New Releases & Dubs January Part 2

Spinning, throwing jams and running borders since 2000, the lady like Mz. Revolution brings the wikkidest sound to the massive. Always keeping her selection fresh, her crates span the bass music spectrum from DnB, Footwork and UK Funky to the freshest Grime and Jungle.
Starting DJing and promoting in Ottawa in the early 2000s, she held down the local "Chicks with Decks"-events and was the main organizer of its original graffiti art parties, "Beatz and Piecez". 
Knowing music could take her further afield, she toured across Canada, reaching from Whitehorse to Vancouver to Halifax in the mid 2000s. During that time she also represented the fresh sounds of new school Canadian Ragga Jungle all over Europe, playing gigs in Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. Highlights included headlining for "Let It Roll" in Prague, playing in Amsterdam on the 60th anniversary of the Canadian liberation of the Netherlands and turning up the bass so loud in Tallinn, Estonia it shook dust from the rafters of factory where the Sputnik (the first satellite) was built.
From 2008 - 12 she promoted Konkrete Jungle 613, and kept the jungle fires blazing in Canada's capital bringing in Canadian and international talent for monthly shows. Jungle luminaries she has played alongside include Aries, Nicky Blackmarket, Liondub, Marcus Visionary, Rene Levice, Krinjah, Ladylite and many more. 
In recent years, Mz. Revolution has focused on her job as an energy researcher and raising two little junglists who say "play the bass and drum mama!" Very thankful to be living in a time with such incredible music at her fingertips, she keeps up on the latest jungle dnb releases, does the occasional Twitch stream and posts mixes to her Soundcloud. She may be available for select domestic and international bookings.

LUCIAN is a trailblazer in Sydney’s Drum & Bass scene, emerging in the late 1990s as a leading figure known for his deep, atmospheric, and tech-driven sound. His dynamic DJ sets, characterized by fast-paced, layered, and precise mixing, have made him a crowd favorite. This reputation earned him the opportunity to support some of the genre's most influential names, including Calibre, Total Science, Bad Company, Marcus Intalex, Jubei, Commix, Aphrodite, Moving Fusion, Bailey, Ray Keith, J Majik, Friction, A Sides, Delicat, Ulterior Motive, and Patife.

For over two decades, LUCIAN has also been a key promoter in Sydney, creating successful club nights like Sonic Fiction, United, Momentum, Joined at the Bass, and Airbourne. These nights helped solidify Sydney's Drum & Bass culture, ensuring the genre’s underground roots continued to thrive and evolve. This dedication led to successful tours across Australia’s East Coast, including Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane.

After focusing on family in recent years, LUCIAN has returned with a renewed passion for the dancefloor, exploring a range of new styles, including Techno, House, Garage, Leftfield, Hip Hop, and Down Tempo.

Flo O’Conor ("flocon") is a London-based Mix Engineer, Artist, and Record Label Owner (RAW Records) originally from Leeds UK, specialising in House, Bassline, Soul & Hip Hop. Active across songwriting, singing and mixing & mastering, flocon plays a role in various stages of the music production process.

Starting as a DJ in the 2010s, flocon performed alongside Cardinal Sound and supported artists such as Artful Dodger and Tanjo in venues across the UK. Previously running a fashion business, Flo returned to music in 2021, launching her own label ‘RAW Records’. Her self-mixed album “Love and Other Drugs” established her presence in the House and Bassline scene, with the song “Bad Boy” (a collaboration with Marky B) reaching over 6 million streams across platforms. flocon’s vocals (which she typically edits in a formant-shifted, pitched-up mixing style) have since been featured in a wide range of Electronic and Dance collaborations.

Based in London, flocon is advancing her technical skills with a Mix Engineering course and has upcoming collaborations with a diverse range of artists and producers. flocon’s music has been spotlighted on BBC Radio, Kiss FM, and Spotify playlists such as New Music Friday UK and Charva Night. She continues to evolve her artistry, designing her own cover art, and experimenting across genres and songwriting concepts.
