Jerrod Williams aka HauteRod (hotrod) was born in the east side of Baltimore,Md.   Growing up in the infamous Lafayette Projects as youngster Jerrod was exposed to the harsh reality of poverty.  While growing up Jerrod was a huge fan of playing sports. As a young teen, Jerrod started to indulge in the street life, starting off as a pack runner who would later gained connections stretched across the city to Baltimore's notorious underground world.   After graduating high school, Jerrod welcomed to the world his first child (Jerrod Jr). Having his child so young only made Haute Rod more dedicated to chasing a dollar. This would lead Haute Rod to experience the good, the bad and the ugly of the drug trade. Jerrod found himself in a tough mental space, and found solace in music.
Teaming up with artist Tim Chase and producer Toan Tracks they created Getitent.  Haute Rod may just be one of the most underrated artist in the city, speaking from previous pain , joy and honesty. Haute Rod writes with conviction, which leaves the listener with a cryptic message of warnings and motivation based off of life's downfalls.
