Phyr Records meaning "fire" from the Greek word "pyro" is a new label by Italy's Pyramidal Decode and debut release 'Compounds VA' features four original tracks by label head Pyramidal Decode, PWCCA, Irazu & Unkle Fon and Oliver Rosemann.

Since adopting his current moniker in 2017, he has released powerful tracks on esteemed labels including Jeff Mills' Axis, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Bas Mooy's Mord, Svreca's Semantica amongst many other influential techno labels.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track "Resistenza" with a raw and menacing style. Cyclical rhythms, pulsing textures and engrossing sound design create a tornado of power and trippy atmospherics in this exceptional contemporary cut.

Now presenting a joint LP release with Oscar Mulero titled 'Il Poema,' this follows four albums already in just three years.

Pyramidal Decode lists prestigious appearances on labels including Jeff Mills' Axis, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Bas Mooy's Mord, and Svreca's Semantica, among many other significant techno imprints as he continues to explore his trippy, cerbral sound.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Virgilio" with it's brooding tension from the throbbing percussion programming. Driving, chopping frequencies and modular accents develop the aesthetic to a wild journey of intensity and contemporary purism.
