Demo for the Synestia patch “Stringer Groove“, a pitch sequence from the expansion Tension for Synestia, available on patchpool.net. Processing a drum groove and a synth sound, automating some of the installed Synestia Macros and volume of the dry signals in Logic. Demo starts dry, then the sends to the Synestia bus open.

Demo for the Synestia patch “Gong Model 02“, a physical modeling patch from the expansion Tension for Synestia, available on patchpool.net. Macro automation in Logic, demo starts dry, then the FX signal fades in.

Mockup made in Reaper with physical models of 8 double basses, 10 cellos, 12 violas, 14 II violins, 16 I violins, 2 flutes and 1 piccolo, 2 oboes and 1 english horn, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 4 horns and 1 tuba, 1 harp and 1 set of sampled ketteldrums. 

The project took 16 hours over 5 days. The original MIDI is from the ballet version, but for reference I used the 1919 reochestration score, the Santtu-Matias Rouvali's 1945 version and the original 1965 Stravinsky's version with the New Philharmonia Orchestra.
