Leo & Henry is written for piano and strings and weaves a lively dialogue between two contrasting characters. Leo, deep and serious, speaks in a slower melody with soaring strings while Henry, light and playful, moves through the piano in quick, agile melodies. Their interaction unfolds as Leo’s measured phrases are followed by Henry’s exuberant flights. It is as if Henry’s bright phrases challenge Leo’s serious reflections. Although the two characters follow each other, they reveal an underlying harmony of ideas.

Built on a repeating piano motif, this duet with strings moves with cinematic clarity and emotional restraint, rising gently before resolving like light through stained glass.

Hi, I started out singing in the 60's. I played in several groups, made a few records. Never went fully pro just played youth clubs, pubs, and socials. 

I play a little guitar and piano just mainly chords and I write a few songs. I purchased a Tyros work station keyboard about 14 years ago and started recording many songs mainly covers. Hope you enjoy listening to some of them.

Playing piano is my daily therapy against stress. That also repels the rodents that attempt to squat my attic in winter !

As an insomniac, I mainly play at night. Each improvisation is like a snapshot of my mood and state of mind of the instant.

I record almost everything I play. From time to time one of these improvisations inspires me enough, and I use it as a basis for a composition.
