This mix captures the authentic sound of Berlin’s early heyday, featuring tracks from 1991 to 1993 that defined the city’s clubs in the years just after the Wall came down. Raw, driving beats and hypnotic synths echo the atmosphere of a city in transition, where East and West merged on the dancefloor. These were the real anthems of the time—intense, unpolished, and filled with the spirit of a new era. 

The opening snippet comes from the SFB documentary “Technocity Berlin” (1993).

After hundreds of years of space exploration, I finally discovered a planet inhabited by beings most likely similar to us. The drone photographed a world composed of enormous metal platforms and vast tropical forests.
From all this, every 50 square kilometers, these enormous, towering metal columns rise. 
Each column has a huge speaker that plays the music/sound I recorded. Very similar to our concept of sound and music.  Then I noticed that this music can only be heard at an altitude of 10 kilometers, exclusively in the space surrounding the planet. 
Then I realized that all this is primarily a form of protection from the outside, from any kind of external intrusion. 
The intelligent entities on this planet intercept your vital signals, understand which civilization you come from, and immediately camouflage themselves.
Because they know full well that if the white man approaches, entire continents and entire civilizations will disappear.
