This is an archive of The Clean Up Hour. Tonight, we're going back to the summer of 2010. Your ears bled because of the vuvuzelas at the World Cup (and because you heard Wavin Flag for the 700,000th time in a day -- can't believe I forgot to mention that!), poptimist sensibilities somehow took hold even after the death of Occupy Wall Street, and social media was controlling more of your life, but not all of it just yet. For me, however, the summer of 2010 was two things; the summer I discovered the blog and mixtape scenes, through 2DopeBoyz and Datpiff, and the summer I briefly had a break from being a total fucking loser. A pretty important summer, I must say, for who knows if this show would exist as it does had I not gone through that summer. Long live it, man.

Tonight, we're headed back to the last four months of 2015 -- we were inching further into trump world, Joe Budden's new podcast was wasting everyone's time, and I was starting to face my first moments of difficulty in keeping up with the times.
