Kontraste sorgen für Spannung und Spannung sorgt für Dynamik. Hinter dieser einfachen Formel verbirgt sich das musikalische Konzept von Kontrast Musik. 

Das Künstler-Kollektiv aus dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet hat es sich daher zur Aufgabe gemacht, deepe elektronische Musik über Trends und enge Genregrenzen hinweg in die Clubs und unter die Leute zu bringen. Insofern ist es auch nichts Ungewöhnliches, wenn bei einem Kontrast Musik-Event stilistische Facetten von Deep House über Dub Techno bis Detroit fließend ineinander übergehen - oder auch mal ein Jazz-Pianist in ein Live-Set integriert wird. 

Die musikalische Offenheit und Vielfalt spiegelt sich in vielerlei Hinsicht auch in der Zusammensetzung der Community wider: Etablierte Szenegrößen treffen dort auf frische talentierte Acts, Vinylpuristen auf Technokraten und DJs auf Live-Acts.

Schon nach kurzer Zeit hat das Konzept von Kontrast Musik eine eigene Handschrift ohne starre Grenzen entwickelt und neben viel Schulterklopfen eine Menge neuer Freunde gewonnen.

2 // JACKS (a.k.a. Daniel Agema &amp; DJ Shin) sind als unschlagbares DJ-Team bundesweit im Einsatz. Mit ihrem außergewöhnlichem Set-Up zwischen Live-Act und klassischem Djing zeigen die beiden, was technisch heute alles möglich ist. Sie bestechen durch ausgefeiltes Mixing, kreative Übergänge und lange, spannungsgeladene Sets. 

DANIEL AGEMA: ist ein wahres Multitalent innerhalb der elektronischen Musikszene. Als DJ, Producer und Live Act ist er immer auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Groove, der verschieden Klangwelten miteinander verbindet ohne dabei den Dancefloor aus dem Auge zu verlieren. Ob im Studio oder beim Live-Einsatz im Club – Daniel Agema steht für Techno mit Persönlichkeit.

DJ SHIN: nimmt seine Zuhörer mit auf eine Reise durch die bunten Klangwelten der elektronischen Musik. Seine Plattentasche birgt jede Menge Überraschungen und er hat ein untrügliches Gespür für den richtigen Track zur richtigen Zeit.

JYLIE: ist eine erfrischende DJane, die vor allem durch ihr Gespür für deepe Sets, eine verspielte Trackauswahl und situative Feinfühligkeit zu überzeugen weiß. 

KAI TORRES: schaut gerne über den Tellerrand und experimentiert mit den verschiedenen Facetten der elektronischen Musik. In seinen Sets zwischen Deep House und Techno verlässt der DJ und Producer (U6 Schallplatten) gerne die Four to the Floor-Ästhetik und spickt seinen sphärischen Sound mit Elementen aus Funk, Dubstep und Hip Hop.

In 1978 a german mother and her puertorican man decided to give birth to a little boy called Kai Torres. His father's passion was music, especially experimental shit and mixing vinyl. Instead of telling stories or playing tapes of fairytales, the evening sessions were affected by feeling the beat and getting involved in the deep fervor of music. So Kai began to get familiar with electronic music in the early 90s and started to dub his first tapes for friends. Therefor he had to use his father's equipment even after he was able to buy his first own record player. The more he grew up the more he found friends in his neighborhood and his down to the present day partner and friend Oliver Flohr (a.k.a. Flizz). Oliver was also highly inspired by Hip Hop and electronic music. This was the birth of the collaboration between Kai and Flizz and they spent a lot of time in working with beats or rather cutting and dubbing them for friends. Both of them were known for innovative and emotional sets in their circle of friends but as time goes on other people got attentive to them. It was time to rock parties, first in small spheres but shortly after that in regional clubs as a real DJ. Kai could socialize with many folks and even national clubs and organizer were interested in him. Later he started to arrange his own parties in cooperation with Flizz and their friends while Oliver put his focus on producing substantial Hip Hop beats which he was able to take to various mixtapes in the US (DJ Soulless presents …). At that time both of them combined their Know How, whether flowing Hip Hop beats or electronic nightlife, and thus produced House & Techno with a touch of Soul and Black music. In 2004 they made it to the very popular festival „Phunkadelic Nites“ in Idar Oberstein. By now for about twenty years of being a team Kai & Flizz are still working on tracks and playing their sets at House parties known as „Radaubrause“ around Mainz (Germany), always fulfillig the crowd's needs and obsessions.
