He has been the lead for many national research projects in the field of physiology, agricultural techniques, and vine genetics. As the author of over 350 publications on vine and viticulture in national and international journals, you can bet he knows his stuff!

Marie Cheslik is a Wisconsin-born registered nurse and certified sommelier. In 2010, she moved to Chicago to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, also working as a part-time hostess in a restaurant. She balanced two careers, working as a nurse and at award-winning restaurants, becoming more passionate about wine. In 2018, Marie passed the Certified Exam of the Court of Master Sommeliers, worked as Wine Director at a Michelin-star restaurant, Elske, and received nominations including Jean Banchet's 'Best Sommelier' in 2019 and Eater’s 'Young Guns’ in 2020. In August 2020, she created Slik Wines to make fun and approachable wine education for everyone. In 2023 she was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s Future 40 Tastemakers and has worked with notable brands such as Wines of Germany, Vini d’Abruzzo, Rick Bayless, VinItaly, and Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant.

The Cián du Giorgi winery is a small family-run winery located in the Cinque Terre National Park in Liguria between the villages of Vernazza and Corniglia. The winery's cellar is situated in the medieval village of San Bernardino, and its vineyards are on the steep terraces overlooking the Ligurian Sea. The Cián du Giorgi winery primarily makes white and rosé wines, reflecting its location in the Cinque Terre region. Key wines include the white wine Amante Dei Venti, a blend of Vermentino, Bosco, and Albarola grapes, and Amante del Sole, a macerated, orange wine also made from local white grapes. They also produce a rosé called Ade.  
Riccardo Giorgi and Adeline Maillard are the owners of the winery, a couple in their life and in their work, but most of all, wine experts and constantly looking for authenticity and beauty.

The Terre Margaritelli winery is located in Miralduolo di Torgiano, in the Umbria region of Italy, near the towns of Perugia and Assisi. The Margaritelli family owns Terre Margaritelli winery, with Andrea Margaritelli currently heading the company as the third-generation leader. The winery was founded by Fernando Margaritelli in 1950, and his son Giuseppe expanded it in 2000. 
Terre Margaritelli is known for its certified organic wines, its unique use of French oak from its own forests in France, and the family's ability to control the entire winemaking process from vineyard to bottle. The winery produces high-quality, characterful wines from local Umbrian grapes, using oak sourced from the Bertrange forest in Burgundy for its barrels. 

Federico Bibi is the winery’s marketing and commercial development manager.
