CAMDEN, returns with a wine stained romantic glimpse at his forthcoming EP. 
The lead track 'SCARS' is a charmingly skewed take on 'pop' melodies, complimented
with the equally poetic B-Side, 'HEROES'.

The track displays his unique ability to photograph emotions
through lyrics, which previously won audiences over with his debut
singles, "Too Pretty For Punk" and "Handsome Ransom". 

This was backed up with an east coast tour, where Camden shared the
stage with artists like Alpine and Rufus. All along gaining support
from blogs and radio both locally and abroad.

CAMDEN spent the last few months in the studio with Producer
WILLSON (New Navy, Flume) developing the sounds of his next
release; much of which was inspired upon seeing the Beijing
Opera whilst on a writing trip to NYC. There will be a lot to be said
about this young crooner in the coming months.

"Ambient Witchcraft" casts no spells outright, yet its atmospheric qualities may awaken what lies dormant in the heart. 

Whether occult proclivities or wanderlust for the mysteries between the world's seams, the music transports to realms beyond reason's fences. A journey is well worth the night's indulgences. There is a mystery to this track that beckons deeper exploration. 

Let me share more of what I had in mind, in regards to it's spellbound grooves...

Beneath woven layers of shimmering dronescapes, I detect ancient voices - perhaps nature spirits whispering primordial tongues, or feminine chants from goddesses given form in old-growth forests. There's sacred wisdom here for those with ears attuned to higher frequencies.

Dark pulse beats akin to a slowed heartbeat evoke the endurance of dark gods and the slow arc of planetary forces. I imagine witches performing moonlit rites to those primal rhythms, tapping streams of power to work magical art.

Solitary sliding synth motifs slide through the composition like disembodied wails, as if mourning losses of wildness in modern times. Their longing stirs protective magick in empathy for this beautiful earth in peril.

Most spellbinding are the track's shifting moods - joy and melancholy, revelation and longing seamlessly interlaced. Such balanced mysteries are at the heart of true witchery, embracing life's complexity without judgment.

No doubt many unseen hands have crafted this craftily beguiling work of art. Perhaps future listens may reveal more of its esoteric wisdom, to any seeking light in these darkened days. For now, its ambient sorceries hold satisfaction enough. Blessed be.

Velkro presents the new single and poem by Norwegian producer Henrik the Artist called PEDDI MAX. The single is being released with a mammoth 21 collection of remixes from his 'true friends', a roster that includes contributions from all around the world. It's an ambitious project in the world of bootleg remixes that plays with the idea of reworking music and art over and over on the internet. It is also a testament to true friendship - or, as Henrik will put it, it’s all made “by true friends for true friends”.
