Analogue Bubblebath by Aphex Twin is of the greatest pieces of electronica to ever grace our ears, so this was quite an intimidating project to take on.

I properly hope that this remix doesn’t offend anybody - it was born out of love and stupidity and is actually a little embarrassing when you compare it to the sublimity of the original. 

The chords used were plucked quickly and impulsively from the ether and there is also some brazen preset implementation, for which I am genuinely sorry.

In all honesty, there was so much more work to do on this, but in the end it was a simple choice between either finalising the project or losing my tiny little mind.

Huge respect and admiration, as well as heartfelt apologies to Mr. Richard D. James, a limitlessly clever bloke who leaves most others cowering in his shadow. He also knows exactly where your girlfriend is.

Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, I first began moving my fingers across fretboards and piano keys in my early teens, followed soon by digital camera buttons and field recording equipment.  I wrote songs and played with other musicians, though was inclined to dive deeper on my own with a very DIY home studio comprised of an over-worked PC, a cheap interface, and a couple cables to start recording.

Through practice, learning, and intense technical and creative acquisition, I’ve been able to not only construct my ideas audibly and visually, but alongside fellow film artists and musicians as well.  The creative process is constantly growing and changing, and I’m always happily surprised with what comes out of the passion put into the beautiful art of music and film.  Connecting with people through this fuels me with creative endeavor and simply pushes me to keep doing the best part of my life.
