My Funny Valentine

This is a song inspired by the film "Starship Troopers" and the lines expressed by Jean Rasczak (played by Michael Ironside) and Johnny Rico (played by Casper Van Dien), "Come on, you apes! You wanna live forever?"

I am a music producer and lyricist and occasionally play the synthesizer,  guitar, and piano. I have been doing this since 2012. People from all over the world make all the sounds used in my music, and some A.I. Most of the time, I write the lyrics and music; I'll hire professionals for the specific instruments I need and then pull them all together to make the final production I want. It is a complicated process to ensure the masters and the stems flow evenly to the beat. Each genre has its own movement, for example, Rap to Rock or Country to Orchestral, which also adds to the complexity. I hope this gives you an idea of what goes on behind the scenes.

I love making music, and many productions are for specific moods or atmospheres I am trying to create. Moby, Enigma, Enya, Def Leppard, Lennard Skynnard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bach, and Beethoven are a few of the legends that have inspired me.

My name is Nick Myer.  I'm a PRS and PPL member songwriter and I love to create words melody & music.   I also produce my own songs that usually feature very talented female vocal artists.  I  sometimes sing my own songs. I never feature AI singers thus I don't support the AI agenda that seeks to takeover human creativity and talents mostly via plagiarism it seems which I am greatly opposed to.  Thus I explicitly do not permit any AI training to be carried out on my original copyright protected songs.  I value my intellectual property therefore I will relentlessly protect it and pursue any breaches of it.  Anyway....
This is a small showcase of many original songs I have composed, recorded & produced for various projects of mine.  I was formerly an exclusively signed songwriter for a small independent publisher/ record label owned by the successful Producer Ben Findon, a long time ago. and had one co-written release called French Nites by artist Judy High. Eternal student of music exploring all styles and techniques. Predominantly a strings man, I have become a born again Synth lover after denying them for years. Have always loved a drum machine though.

SINCERE IMPOSTER writes, performs and/or produces a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave & Experimental World Pop. Collectively, it's a genre known as QUIRKPOP --- Music that makes you say, "What the hell is this?"

The band currently consists of two members, both living within the same body, sharing a similar existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused. However, both are extremely and unapologetically sincere. 

Influences include Weird Al, Nathan Fielder, David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain and T-Swift. Their favorite inventions are the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel... who may be an entity or a god.
