This series of vignettes covers a handful of Popes that didn't have the luxury of turning in their Prada slippers and flying away in a helicopter. In fact, some of them went to trial, some were killed, and one managed to do both of those things in an order that may surprise you. How many crimes were committed? Well, we kept a running total.
