I wrote this when I was living on my own for the first time and began battling depression. This was my mantra song, my message of self gratitude. This song allowed me to ground myself when I was feeling my lowest.

Caleko found his way to the Turntables as a young raver in the 90's. Standing behind Rave royalty while they played to the crowds. Caleko's style has come from watching Rave Royalty such as Donald Glaude , Richard Vision, Sandra Collins, Ak1200 and BadBoy Bill. Caleko has a deep mixing style that is truly artistic. You can see and hear the years under his belt every set.

I'm Welai (way-lay) a folk singer-songwriter from Portland. I write and perform music via guitar, banjo, ukulele, and piano, often incorporating different instruments as well. 

All the music and videos on this page are produced by me. I'm continually working on my demo albums and aim to release fully mastered versions soon. I also actively use this profile while writing songs, so you may hear raw performances mixed in with my more polished works.
