La biomasa es la materia orgánica de origen vegetal o animal que se utiliza para obtener una fuente de energía, incluye diferentes recursos como residuos agrícolas, forestales, cultivos energéticos y desechos de origen animal, estos se pueden transformar en biocombustibles sólidos, liquido o gaseosos para generar calor, electricidad o biogás. Es una alternativa renovable y sostenible.

In aflevering 27 van de Team pLESStic! podcast reisden Marnix en goede vriendin Marieke af naar Terschelling voor het Springtij Forum. Met het thema ‘De Kunst van Bewegen’ verzamelden deelnemers zich drie dagen om de duurzaamheidstransitie van Nederland te bevorderen. Hoewel Marnix en Marieke zelf geen deel van het officiële programma waren, waren ze ontzettend nieuwsgierig naar de sfeer rondom het evenement. Ze wilden proeven welke dynamiek er hing op het eiland.

De reis had ook een persoonlijke betekenis: ze vierden namelijk 27 jaar vriendschap. Dit gaf de ervaring een extra speciale lading en maakte het een moment om stil te staan bij zowel de duurzame toekomst als hun gedeelde geschiedenis. Ze hopen beiden dat ook de deelnemende beleidsmakers en bedrijven in het Springtij Forum, stappen durven zetten richting een schonere toekomst.

Marieke Habraken-Meijers, werkzaam bij Factorium Cultuurmakers in Tilburg, verbindt kunst en onderwijs en zet zich in voor de brede talentontwikkeling bij kinderen. Het gesprek raakt aan de uitdagingen van plasticreductie, zowel in de persoonlijke sfeer als binnen de theaterwereld, waar duurzaamheid steeds belangrijker wordt, bijvoorbeeld in het hergebruik van decorstukken.

Terwijl Marnix en Marieke op het ene eiland zitten, brengt podcastmaker duo-lid Romy verslag uit vanaf een ander eiland, uiteraard geheel in stijl met een pakkend gedicht. Romy is sinds vorig jaar eilanddichter van Pampus. Afgelopen maand heeft ze een week op het fossiel vrij en zelfvoorzienend eiland mogen verblijven.

I started life as a DJ with Unknown and 4Bidden sound system on the free party scene, brought up by the Hyper crew going to Dreamscapes and local raves.
