The vocal track for “Sevens Years at Sea” (Sept Ans Sur Mer) is from “A Treasury of Library of Congress Field Recordings” (Rounder Records 1500) and is now in the Public Domain. It was recorded by John and Alan Lomax in Louisiana in 1934, and is sung by Elita, Mary, and Ella - the Hoffpauir Sisters.

The field samples and tuned sounds on “One Note Samba” were recorded for this project in New York City and in São Paulo, Brazil.

The Moscow band PuzzleWood – is a successful example of expressive musical independence. The band members claim that they play for “their own,” and very rarely give concerts to overcrowded audiences. They disappear from the public’s eye when they need to, and turn up whenever they please with a big concert tour. They alternate between underground pubs, “Aleksey Kozlov’s Club,” provincial performances, and major festivals of the country. In general, they exist not outside the musical industry, but in spite of it.

Taking the name of the mysterious English forest, that inspired John R. R. Tolkien and Ursula Le Guin, PuzzleWood lives up to its name. The group plays meditative post-progressive in the traditions of King Crimson and Pink Floyd, drifting between the psychedelic and electronic. And the English lyrics, written by Anton Legatov, can’t be called anything but poetry – personal, suspenseful, crammed with references and quotes to world literature. The group is composed of Anton Legatov, Nikita Lipatov, and Eugene Semonov.

Wounded Hollow is the ambient, psychedelic, and post-rock project that I do when not playing bass for Asheville's (young) American landscape. Hi, it's Tibor. Thank you so much for listening to my music!

Around 2000 my buddies and me started our first band which evolved from a Punk band into rhythmically crazy Prog-Metal somehow. We split up a couple of years later, followed by a long period of studying, getting my first job and trying to find answers to all of the many meaningful questions you have when everything you do feels ok at the best but not right.

Life became easy. And boring. So I tried my best to find nice people to jam with. I quit my job to move to Berlin in 2015 hoping to meet the right people. Some really good relationships developed from this period. As frustrating it was at the time to not be able to form a band I totally overlooked how inspirational and motivational this time was for me. Without consciously aiming for it I became able to set up mics and record myself playing guitar within a studio. I learned to set some decent bass and even drum tones, and how to utilize synthesizers and virtual instruments. So I began to build my own cheap home studio and I liked the results. Ideas turned into parts, parts turned into songs and suddenly, songs turned into my first little album called Infinte Gest.

Now, in mid-2019, I have no clue what this project is heading for in the future. Maybe it will remain as a solo diy-project, but it could also turn into live shows as well. I don't know what's coming next but I am looking forward to it. Love what you do and do what you love.

CEREUS is a Polish post-progressive group formed in Warsaw in 2012.
The band consists of founding members Paweł Sikora (guitarist) and Konrad
Pawłowski (bass), drummer Łukasz Gańko and Michał Dąbrowski on vocals.
In May 2013 CEREUS released first EP/Demo album "Light Under
the Blue Wave" containing four tracks. Already known of their energetic
live performances, the band is still looking for it's own identity in fusion of
many music genres.

Currently, the band has the repertoire of 8 songs performed on concerts in Warsaw and its neighbourhood.
