The moans caused by the virus that has affected society must decide how to kill everyone.
so Michael suggested to her that groaning is the best way to kill errbody
Moans just surprised about his saying and 
moans was just trying to escape wherever she was staying
However, Michael tried to catch her and eventually succeeded in catching her.
This was the beginning of the debacle.
